"I don't know." Her face grew pale. She needed him. He couldn't die. "He can't be dying.""Sam, Calla isn't taking this well."
Sam nodded, "I know." She looked over at Calla, "He'll be ok. But in order for us to help him, I need to know exactly what just happened." She said sternly.James was still growing weaker.
"We got in a fight." She simply said. "He said I was thinking bad thoughts about him. I wanted to know why he would think that. He said he could feel it. Well I would never think anything bad about him." She was freaking out. She couldn't take it."Sam Calla still isn't doing well."
"I'm working on it." She told Danny. "If they got in a fight, she could be killing him without realizing it..." Sam said outloud.James was barely there anymore.
Her knees buckled and she fell. " James is dying." She started to shake. She needed him. "He can't die."" Sam he is almost gone."
"I know!" She looked down. She hadn't meant to shout. "I'm sorry. I just don't know what to do...." she sank down on the bed. "I'm such a failure."James breathing had slowed to almost nothing.
Tears came down her face. James was dying. Sam was shouting. She didn't know what to do. She felt herself spinning. Her heart needed James. James loved her. He told her that everyday. She gave him what little power she had left. "Sam you don't think she will go crazy." Then a flash appeared.
"Hello came to finish the job I started. Seems to me that James can only one to heal her." Her aunt laughed and walked over to Calla and stabbed her. She was gone.
Calla was struggling to stay awake determine to die if she had in his arms. "Please James you got to wake up."
"Sam what are we suppose to do?"
Sam was shocked. Her face went pale and she stumbled back a bit, shaking her head."They can't die... they aren't dying!" She shook her head. "Calla can't be dying. She's alive! Yeah. She's just fine..."James groaned softly. Calla was no longer hurting because of him, so he was slowly getting energy back.
Calla was fighting to stay awake. Her breathing was to a nothing. "It hurts." She said. Her eyes felt baggy. "James please wake up." "Calla put pressure on it." He gave her a wash cloth to put pressure on it. "Hold it." She nodded. She pressed on.
"James please. Your the only one who can heal me."
James eyes snapped open and he sat up, rubbing his head. "What ha-" he spotted Calla. "Calla! What happened! What's going on?" He ran over to her.Sam was shaking her head over and over and rocking herself back and forth, "they're fine...they're fine..."
She smiled weakly. "Aunt stabbed me again." She whispered. "Your the only one that can heal me." She felt herself drifting off. "I love..." She closed her eyes. Danny went over to Sam."Shhh Princess." He hugged her.
"I love you too." James said, placing a hand over the stab wound. He healed it.Sam leaned against him, her face still pale. "They're ok. Right?"
She didn't what was happening. The pain was soon gone. She couldn't open her eyes. She felt her cold."Yes." He whispered.
"You're ok now." James promised gently. He hugged her. "We'll all be ok now."Sam nodded, calming down somewhat.
"James?" She opened her eyes. She hugged him. "I love you." She smiled. "I don't exactly remember what happened. But I do know is that my Aunt made me think bad thoughts about you so you couldn't heal me." She hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry.""See they are ok now." He whispered.
"It's ok." He said gently, "I dont blame you for what happened."Sam nodded, calming down. "Ok." She whispered.
"I'm sorry." She repeated. She hurried her head in his shirt. "See everything is ok."
"I forgive you." He said gently, hugging her.Sam nodded, hugging Danny. "I know."
"James I froze up." She whispered."Are you ok?"
"It's ok honey. It's in the past now. I still love you just as much as I did before." He promised her.Sam nodded, "I think so. Sorry for freaking out..."
She nodded her head slowly. She was scared. "I'm afraid." She whispered. Clamming down. Her eyes slowly closed. She felt safe in his arms."It's over and done with Princess." He said gently.
James picked her up gently and placed her on the bed. "It'll be ok."Sam nodded, "Ok." she smiled at him weakly. "Thank you."
She nodded her head slowly. Then a sharp pain went through her. She winced. "My aunt used a different blade. A hunters blade." Tears came down her eyes. "It hurts." "Anytime Princess."
"I healed it..." James said, confused, "Why does it still hurt?"Sam smiled. "I'm so glad I have you."
"Poison in blood stream already." She muttered. Her heart was slowing down. She needed to stay awake. She couldn't any longer. She closed her eyes. "I love y..." The rest of the word was cut off by the darkness she got swirled into. She felt her body went limp. She couldn't move. "Princess I love you." He whispered in her ear.
"Poison." James frowned. "I am going to kill your aunt for this." He slowly pulled the poison out of her concentrating hard to get every last drop.She smiled, looking down, "Love you too." She whispered.
She felt the poison going. She couldn't tell James it reached her heart. It was too late. Her heart was barley beating. She covered in blanket of darkness. She was going to die. She didn't want to. She needed to tell James that it was too late. It couldn't be too late. It couldn't be. She couldn't die. She couldn't die. Her body wasn't working. She was almost gone."Well I love you more."
James kept pulling out the poison as quickly as he could, "Stay with me Calla." He whispered, using all of his energy to drain the poison.Sam laughed "We're doing this again? Ok. Well I love you most."
The poison kept coming more and more. It couldn't stop. She heard someone say something. Her breathing stopped. She was gone. Her body couldn't take it anymore. She opened her eyes and looked around. "Josh what am I doing here?" She saw her brother staring at her."Yes we are and I love your more than most."
James stopped when he realized that Calla had stopped breathing. He pounded a fist into the side of the bed. Then he calmed down. "I'm sorry baby. I'm so sorry." He hugged her.Josh smiled, "Welcome home. You died lil sis."
Sam laughed. "Of course you do."
"I died." She repeated the words slowly. "I don't belong here yet. I have to get back to James" "Sam something feels wrong."
He buried his face in her neck to hide his tears from the world.Josh looked at her sympathetically. "You died."
"I was just about to say the same thing." Sam said. "Let's go." She got up and walked over to James. She saw him huddled over Calla's body and froze in her tracks. Her heart started to beat faster. Calla can't be dead! Her face paled.
"I don't belong here." James can't give up. "I don't belong here. I need to get back." She shook her head. "I don't belong here yet. You and I both know that." She stared angrily at her brother."Sam don't over react now. She still has some magic left." He paused. "James do tried to get her breathing again."
Josh shrugged, "Well you'll be here for good if your buddies don't bring you back soon."James looked up, "How? She's dead!"
Sam tried to calm down, she tried really hard. But her heart was beating faster and faster. "I'm trying Danny. I'm trying..."
"Josh I can't stay not without him." She paused. "They need to hurry." "She has magic left in her body. Just like Sam did. Get her breathing again before it's too late." He held Sam. " Shh baby it will be ok."
James nodded. "Ok." He said weakly. He began to do CPR on Calla, working to get her heart and lungs going again."Yes they do. But it looks like they're trying now." Josh said.
She couldn't look away from Calla and James. "I hope you're right. I can't lose Calla."
She felt something tug her back. "Come on James." She looked at Josh he started to fade out. Her body slowly started to breathe again."See everything will be ok."
James kept it up diligently. He didn't pause for a break once. When she started breathing, he backed up and watched her carefully, hoping she would wake up."Bye." Josh said, waving.
Sam nodded slowly. "ok."
Her breathing progressed. She still felt a little limp. Her wrist flinched a little bit."She will be ok."
James allowed himself to smile a little. He gathered Calla up in his arms and hugged her gently. "Come back to me." He coaxed.Sam nodded again, relaxing against Danny. "I need a break. I need to calm down." She straightened. "I'm going to go fly for a bit."
She heard a voice. She came to the voice. She let a smile form on her face. She couldn't wake up though. "Ok." He nodded. "James if she doesn't wake up maybe you could force her to be with the tie?"
James nodded. "Ok." He did what Danny had said. "Come on, please work."Sam jumped into the air and flew outside, swooping above the mountain and into the skies. She flew around until her muscles had relaxed and she felt calm again.
She fluttered her eyes. "James?" She whispered. Danny watched waiting for Sam to come back.
James smiled. "Calla. You're ok!"Sam slowed down and flew back into the building where she found Danny waiting for her.
"Yeah I am." She said with a weak smile."I'm tired." She whispered."Princess." He said smiling.
"we can rest." He told her."Hi." She replied, "Thanks. I needed to cool down."
Hey lay back on the bed with her. "I'm glad you're ok.""Are you ok?" She asked.
"Me too." She smiled. "I'm fine." He smiled.
James felt like he was sinking into a deep, dark ocean.
