Once Upon A Time and Lara

"Huh." She slowly fell into a deep sleep.

James shook her gently, "Stay awake." He told her again.

James shook her a little harder. "Stay awake." He said, louder this time. "Come on, you have to stay awake."

"It's ok." He said, sighing relieved, "Just try to stay awake, ok?"

"Another dream walker." Sam said simply. "He's got Calla."
"What?" Josh asked, his smile disappearing.
"Stay with me baby." James said gently, he was very worried about her. "Please."

"What?" Sam asked.
"I thought I got rid of him years ago. Sorry guys."
"Can you tell us how to kill him?"
Josh thought for a moment, "Yeah, you have to stab him with the white blade."
"That shouldn't be too hard, we just have to find the blade..."
Josh shook his head, "No. The dark me is protected with a barrier. One of you would have to go inside his mind and break it down. And that will take skill, time, effort, concentration, not to mention a good amount of luck."
"I know you can do it." He encouraged her, shaking her gently, "Stay awake Calla."

"I know so hard though."

"But..." Sam said, but it was too late. They weren't in the spirit world anymore. Everything was dark. Dark and cold.
James held her, scared now, "It'll be ok. Sam and Danny are going to figure something out, I know it."

James shook her, "Come on Calla, stay awake!"

"Calla!?" He shook her a little harder, "Stay awake!" Guys?! Hurry up! Calla's out.

"It's ok babe. Just try to stay awake." James said gently.

James smiled back, "I'm right here for you." He encouraged her.

"I'm know."

Sam, try again, it should be weaker now...
Josh? Sam asked as the new voice spoke.
Yeah, this is my mind, technically.... Try again, quick.
Josh's bad side spoke again. Get out of my head! Both of you!
Sam stood up, preparing to reach out to the red light again.
James rocked her gently, "How are you doing? Are you ok?" He asked, concerned about her.

Yes you can. I'll try to help you. You're almost there.
Sam kept squeezing until she felt the solid thing shatter into a million pieces. The red light went out and Sam sighed, passing out from the pain in her arm.
"Are you sure?" James asked, he was still really worried about her.

"No I'm still really tired." She blinked her eyes trying to stay awake.

Come on guys, hurry up! James thought silently. "Don't worry, we'll find a way to fix this." He told her gently.

"I'm sorry." She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

James shook her again, and when he realized she wasn't waking up, he sighed. He hoped Danny and Sam had killed the dreamwalker by now.

Calla laid there tired.

Sam was moving in and out of consciousness.

Calla felt so weak. She mumbled."I love you." To James.

James turned his attention back to Calla. He sat beside her on the bed, "Calla! You're awake. I love you too babe. Are you ok? Do you need anything? Are you going to be alright?"

"Good." He said, sighing in relief. Then he shrugged, "I'm not sure. I think she's unconscious or something."

"I'm sure she's fine honey. Danny and her had to go through a lot to get you back I'm sure. She's probably just tired, like you are." He said gently, "You should get some rest now."

Sam shifted her head from side to side, she tried to say "I'm fine." But it came out in a soft groan instead.
"Is Sam ok?" James asked Danny, just to make sure.

"I think she is ok. But I am not positive. They went through a lot to get you back." James said slowly.

Sam was still clutching her arm to her chest. She curled up in a little ball, trying to suffocate the pain.

"I'm fine." Sam managed to whisper. She was sweating and all her muscles were tense.
"You don't look fine." James said, walked over, "What hurts Sam?" He asked.
She held out her hand, "My arm." She said weakly.

"James doesn't Calla know how to rest?" Danny shook his head.

Sam moaned softly, looking at her hand. What is wrong with me?>

"I don't know?" He paused.

"Danny. Make it stop. It hurts." She whispered, trembling.
"Stay awake Calla." He said gently, "You have to try and stay awake."
