Once Upon A Time and Lara

"I do too." He said, looking down at her. She was so beautiful. He felt as if this was the last time he would get alone with her for a while until the honeymoon.

Calla heard someone at the door."James I don't want to stop." She wanted to be alone with him. Just for a while.

"I don't either." He admitted. The knocking grew louder. "I guess we have to go answer that." He smiled, "We will have a whole week to ourselves for our honeymoon." He assured her.

"Ok." She smiled at the thought of it. "Josh come on. You need to be here to explain why you don't want to do this." She paused."They think he is next in line which he would of been, but since he is a Dreamwalker no longer a witch. I don't care because I have my big brother back."

Josh appeared, "Yeah, yeah I know what I have to do."
James walked with Calla to the door.

When they got to the door. "Hello council man Crispen." She did a light curtesy. "This is James my other half."
"Why isn't your brother taking your place?"

Josh sighed, walking up, "I revoke my rights to the throne. My sister will do a better job as queen." He explained.
James respected Josh for not being jealous of his sister, and giving up his rights to the throne with no trouble.

"Ok. Your coronation will be held two days after your wedding. We will have more people coming."
"Yes." She nodded her head.

Josh stared at all the people arriving and grimaced, "I'll catch you guys later." He disappeared.
James smiled as people passed him, "So what happens now?" He asked Calla.

"James did he just say that." She whispered. She had popped tables and chairs and food of a buffet."Welcome people from far. I'm glad you guys could make it." She looked at James to see if he had anything to say.

"I think so." He looked over at the people, "Yes, thank you for coming. Feel free to seat yourself at one of the tables." He smiled, motioning to the tables Calla had made.

"Enjoy." She grabbed James hands and sat at the head table. "Dinner will be served soon. Please let the waiters take your orders."

James looked around the huge room as people gradually took their seats and began ordering food. He grew excited. It was actually happening! He was getting married. He grinned.

"Try out the cup. It so cool." She grinned and looked at James."I want a coke." Coke slowly filled up in the glass."How cool is that?"

James grinned, "Awesome." He tried his cup out, "Coffee please." The cup immediately filled. Everyone was seated now, and had ordered their food. James stood, tapping his fork against his glass. "I would like to make a toast." He said, waiting for silence. "First. Thank you all for coming. We are gathered today to celebrate something very special, and it means a lot to us that you could come out here. Now, I would like to toast to my beautiful fiance," he said, smiling down at Calla, "and all of our friends," He smiled at Sam and Danny, "Who make our lives what they are, and give us a reason to remember them."
Sam was so touched, she had to wipe a tear from her eye to keep it from rolling down her cheek and smudging her makeup.
"So without further a do, let the dinner begin!" He announced, sitting back down.
Everyone in the room cheered, before going back to pleasant chatter among themselves as the food arrived.

"I will like to say thank you for coming again. I hope you guys like the food we made. I want to say thank you for all the support from you guys." She sat down."James your my king." She whispered. "After this council wants to talk about politics and the up coming war."

"Love you too." He sighed, "Ok. I guess I'll have to sit through it." He sighed, stabbing some of his food with his fork before trying it.

"I know. I guess we will have to get used to it." She sighed." I love you more." She smiled at him.

"I love you most." He told her, smiling. "So, what time is the ceremony tomorrow?"

"I don't know. There setting up right now. I'm going to have the most beautiful dress." She declared. She hadn't thought about. "Sam later on tonight can you help me find a wedding dress?"

James nodded, "Ok. So we just do it when ever they are done setting up?"
Sam grinned, "That would be fun! Could you help me find one as well?"

"Your really glad people are around. A queen must never get mad at someone know matter how annoying they are. I maybe having different conversations going doesn't mean you have to be rude." She turned over to James."I don't care when we have it." She smiled at Sam."Sure."

"You don't care?" James asked, slightly surprised, "How about at two then?"
Sam squealed, "I'm so excited!"

"That's perfect." She smiled. She notice the council was leaving. "James the meeting. I will see you soon." She said to Sam.

James got up and followed Calla to the council meeting.
Sam turned to Danny, "She's just stressed now, as am I. Just try to play it cool for a while ok?" She asked gently.

"I don't know." She lead him into this big room. It was big. The council men were staring at her.
"Welcome." Council man Crispen said. Murmurs were going around to see if she was ready.
"I'm next in line. I'm ready." She bit her lips so she wouldn't say something she regretted.

James looked around, somewhat nervously. "You'll do great." He whispered to Calla, squeezing her hand encouragingly.

"How do you know if she isn't evil? You know she is suppose to be a dark witch." Crispen stared at her and back to the person who said that. She was getting mad. She squeezed James hand.

"Keep your cool." James reminded her, whispering. He turned to the member who had spoken, "If she was evil, would she not have already joined her aunt?" He pointed out.

"The greatest enemy is the one who is inside. We have a special guest tonight. Here is the siren queen." Her face went a cold pale.
"James I'm scared." She whispered.

"Don't worry, we'll work this out." He whispered.
"Why is she here?" He asked, angrily facing the council. "We are here to discuss war tactics, are we not? And yet you bring this traitor in here. Like you said, counsel man, the greatest enemy is one on the inside." He gave him an accusing stare. James knew he had the upper-hand in the argument. He had always been good at debating.

"She has helped us in other battles."
"Hello little siren we meet again. There is no running from who you are."
Calla started to panic.

James put a protective hand in front of Calla. "If she helped you in other battles, then you would know she is not to be trusted in meetings of this importance." He growled, "We refuse to discuss anything with you until that monster is out of here." He said firmly, "You can count us out of your list of allies, and I can tell you right now, that would not be a smart move."

"Hasn't Calla told you we make the final decisions that affects everybody until she is suited for queen. Until then we will partner with the siren. Calla will under go training with her. If not you can kiss everything Calla and her parents worked for goodbye." Calla was shaking. The siren was happy to hear that answer.

"Hasn't Calla told you that we have all the people who are not dark rallied behind us? Calla will lead them against the dark witches with or without your help. What are you going to do? Rally with the sirens and a couple of scared good witches and stop us? I don't think so." James glared, "If you can't see how corrupted and deceitful sirens are, then mister, you aren't fit to be on any council." He glared. He didn't care who these people were, they were haughty and conceited, and he didn't like them one bit.

"Go ahead do that. We have to think about other people not just your well being. The sirens have been good to us. Until they wrong us as the council then everything will be fine." He paused. "Your training for queen and the use of your powers begins the day after you wedding then a week on."
Callas face went pale."Excuse me sir I have a honeymoon to go."
He laughed."You will not go on a honeymoon until this war is over. Meeting is over." Everyone disappeared. Calla looked up at James.

James rolled his eyes, "Those council people are a bunch of lazy old hags. We'll figure something out Calla, don't worry."

Calla was frozen with fear. She didn't want this to happen. Her face was dangerously pale. She was still shaking. "J-ames I'm scared."

"Why?" He asked her, "Worst case scenario, you have to deal with fish face for a while, and we delay our honeymoon a week." He smiled, brushing her hair out of her face, "Don't worry, we'll work this out, ok?"

"Why?" He asked her, "Worst case scenario, you have to deal with fish face for a while, and we delay our honeymoon a week." He smiled, brushing her hair out of her face, "Don't worry, we'll work this out, ok?"

"I don't want to work with her. Would you stay at the training sessions please. You know how to snap me out of it." She looked up at him."I thought I wouldn't have to deal with her."

"Yeah, I'll stay if you want me too." He promised, "We'll get it over and done with if we have to."

"Thank you." She hugged him tightly."I don't want to become like her." She was still shaken up from everything.

"You could never be like her. You are completely different, your heart is different." He assured her.

"Yeah. But I did show up, so everything is ok." James smiled, "Let's not worry about it now. We are getting married tomorrow! It is a time to be happy, not to worry." He told her gently.
"James I wish we had a choice to make it a small get together." She sighed while she was dancing. Her dress spun around her as she danced with him.
