Once Upon A Time and Lara

"We won't lose." Danny said triumphantly."Besides you got that one dragon from the legend you told us about."

Josh's dragon waddled off to join the others. Josh looked around, "So who are these other beings, Sam?"
Sam thought for a moment, "I know we could as the wolves, and there are mountain fairies living somewhere further into the peaks. I think there are a couple troll villages as well." She nodded, pausing, "I have heard about giants, but those are all but legend, so I wouldn't count on them.'

"They can't be that bad. Don't they look like tinker bell?"
She started to laugh.

Then she perked up again, "Actually, there is a community somewhere the mountains of peaceful creatures: talking animals of all sorts, fauns, dryads, and nyads. If we could find their sanctuary, they might help us as well."
James nodded, "All of those creatures on our side, regardless of whether or not they are trustworthy, would surely give us a fighting chance."
Josh nodded, "If you make a deal with the less trustworthy ones, I'm sure they would be more than pleased to help out."
Sam nodded, "That was what I was thinking."

"Wait vampires are real?"
"Yeah. So we should split up."

Josh shook his head, "I can go by myself."
"Are you sure bout that?" James asked. "It might be better if we stick together for this, not all of these creatures are completely friendly."
Josh laughed, "I know that. You think I can't handle them on my own?"
Sam gave him a skeptical look, "It's always good to be on the safe side."

"Why don't you want to go with James?"
"I have my reasons why." She looked up at James. She couldn't lose him to those sirens. She couldn't lose herself either.

Josh walked over to Calla, "Ready to go?"
Sam closed her eyes, searching for the sanctuary. She found it no problem and laid a mental route to get there. "I would advise not telleporting in on them, it would not make them thing well of you."
"So we take the dragons." James said, whistling. Dusk flew into the room, now almost a fully grown dragon, and he was huge.
Josh breathed reverently, "Wow..."
James grinned, climbing onto Dusk's back. "Lead the way, Sam."
Come Arae, we need to go visit the sanctuary. Arae came thundering into the room, just as large and impressive as Dusk, but with a slightly longer neck and wingspan. Sam flew onto her back, settling in behind a large neck spine to hold onto. "Come-on Danny, call Spot so we can go." She smiled down at him.

"Spot come on." He came along as he was called."Don't even think about saying any rude comments." He hopped on Spot. "Come on James your holding us up."

Sam and Arae took off and flew through the tunnel towards outside. James took off on Dusk, following Sam. He smiled back at Calla as he left.
Josh looked over at Calla, "He'll be fine. Now are you coming or not?" He asked her.

His dragon was quite. "Princess what did Calla mean by not to let me talk."

Sam smiled back at him as Arae flew up into the sky. "She doesn't want you to say anything you'll regret. Just leave the talking to James and I."
James shook his head, "You're more familiar with these people. You talk Sam."
Sam nodded as they began to descend towards a sheltered valley in the mountains. "If you say so." They landed in the valley, startling some fauns that were near by.
Sam dismounted and waited as a large cat walked up to them. It was at least the size of a lion, maybe larger, but it appeared to only be a house cat. "What is it that you want?" It asked, hissing slightly. "You have distrubed our way of life."
Sam nodded, "I am really sorry." She said, "But.." She told them the story of how the dark witches were coming and would take over the world, killing almost any one and everyone."
The cat thought for a moment, "And you wish us to aid you against the witches?"
Sam nodded. "You don't have to give us and answer right away. If you agree, you may bring your people who are willing and able to fight to the Flahendiel." She told him, mounting on her dragon again. "Leave, now, before they decide they want us to stay." She told the others, taking off into the sky again.

"You can see her if you sing the sirens song." Callas face grew pale. "Can you sing the sirens song? Sam they want me to sing to see the lead siren
Danny got on to his dragon.

"What?" James asked her as they flew towards their castle again.
Sam shook her head, "Just talking to Calla."
Josh looked over at Calla, "So what do we do now?"

"Can you sing the sirens song? You have the blood running through you. Don't be afraid to sing. Your boyfriend over here wouldn't mind."
"This guy over isn't my boyfriend. He is my brother and plus I'm engaged."

Josh rolled his eyes, biting his tongue to keep from saying all the hateful things he thought about sirens.

"Sing little siren."
"What's wrong."

"Won't that take up a lot of your energy, we have dragons with us." James pointed out.
Sam nodded, "We have to help them though." She telleported them to Calla, and then sighed, falling against Arae's neck.
Josh turned as the rest of them snapped into the clearing. He noticed that the siren looked startled, "What are they doing here?" He whispered to Calla.

"Sing siren you know it is tempting." It was but she couldn't.
"Sam are you ok?" He went to her side.

James eyed the siren warily. If they were going to sing, then that meant. James gulped. He hated sirens. He hated them a lot.
Josh snorted and rolled his eyes, "So are we going to try to get these fishes help or not?" He whispered to Calla.

"Your not siren then we must kill you."
"No I can sing the song."
"I'm glad. What's going on Princess."

Sam nodded forwards, "Calla has to sing to gain the siren's trust." She whispered back to Danny, "We're here for back up."

"Are you going to sing or will have to kill that guy name James first." She saw the sirens going to grab him. "Sing." James was right in front of her. She started to sing the sirens song. She felt power from this. She soon got louder.
"Ok." He was afraid.

Sam watched Calla worriedly, she didn't like the conflicted look on James' face. "Ok, siren. She's singing, now take us to your leader." She said seriously to the siren.

"Yes my lady."
Calla just looked over at the lady. "James please wake up."
"Is she getting better at that?" He whispered to Sam.

Sam nodded to Danny, "It would see so."

"Help you my lady that is awful."
"Ok. We will help you. We will train you. You have a lot of power little siren." She let a light laugh out.
"Princess I'm why does she want to train her"

Sam shrugged, "The way of the sirens I guess." She said, "We will soon see."

"What do you want with her?"
"She needs training. Her power of the sirens control her. She needs to learn how to control that. Soon she will be able to spread that effect to anyone she wants."

Sam swallowed hard. Training sounded good for Calla, so that she could be in control of the power, but being to control others didn't sound very good.
Josh sighed, "Can we hurry this up so we can leave." He was getting antsy of the place as well.

"Well first you have dress like us." She snapped her out of her clothes.
Calla didn't say anything. The skirt was to short. The shirt was to revealing. "We will begin as soon as we get by your castle or wherever you stay." She wanted to change.
"Does she have to wear that?" He whispered to Sam.

James tried not to stare too long at Calla, even though it was hard.
Josh rolled his eyes, these sirens were really getting on his nerves.
Sam nodded, "Ok, come by the Flahendiel when you are ready." She told the sirens. "Lets go." She told James, Calla, Danny and Josh.

She helped James up. "I'm going to sit with you." She smiled. She grabbed James and went to Dusk.
"Don't you have to pack?"

Josh dissapeared in a puff of smoke.
James smiled, helping her up behind him onto Dusk's back. "Hold on tight." He told her as Dusk took off.

"Come on Spot let's go." They started to fly off. They soon arrived to the castle.

James landed and let Dusk wander off to get food.

"Your afraid of that power." She paused. "You look like a siren now sing." She shook her head.
"I don't want to."
"Sing."

James looked between Calla and the siren, "Well, I will leave you to your training, I am going to go get lunch."

"Sing." She blinked her eyes and started singing. The siren smiled.

James walked into the kitchen and made himself some lunch.

"Have him bring a you a sandwich." She nodded at the sirens command. She sang the sirens song. "My love bring me sandwich." She felt weird saying this.

James felt that presence again. He fought it, but decided Calla might actually want a sandwich, so he brought her one before pushing the control out of her mind completely.

"Good." The siren smiled. Calla dropped to the ground.
"I don't like doing that. James please wake up."

James snapped out of it and sighed, "Ok, I'm fine with you practicing this stuff, but we know that you can control others, so please stop practicing on me." He shook his head, "You need to focus making sure it doesn't control you." He pointed out, before trying to get as far out of hearing range from Calla as he could.

Calla felt hurt. "I'm sorry." He was long gone.
"Stop your feeling for yourself."
Calla looked at the ground. This a bad idea.

James felt bad for Calla, but he really hated being mind controlled, especially with that siren around.

She summoned a human. "Come sing the song to the human." She wanted to say no. She started singing. The human boy looked like he was confused. Then his eyes clouded. "Good job. Have him bring back James."
"My dear human go bring me James." The power was consuming her.

A boy walked up to James. "Who are you?" He asked.
The boy didn't say anything, his eyes were glazed, he just grabbed James' arm. James shook him off, "What are you doing?" He asked.
The boy lept at him and tried to pin him down. James fought the boy as well as he could, but the boy was under the influence of magic, and stronger than any human. The boy pinned James' arms behind him and lead him to Calla and the siren.

"Here you go my master."
"See your doing very well little siren." She paused and let a laugh."You like that power. Tell your little boyfriend how you feel." She felt herself drifting away. Her eyes were turning a cloudy blue the color of a siren. She was fighting this.
Josh grinned, "You have dragons?"
James nodded, "Yeah, there were a bunch of eggs--"
"Where?" Josh asked, excited.
James pointed and Josh ran off in that direction.
"Yeah." Sam said, "I think so." She overheard Calla's conversation and spoke up, "The centaurs may help us, and there are other beings in these mountains we could ask for help from as well."
Josh came back with a small, greenish black dragon at his heels.
