Once Upon A Time and Lara
James's hands curled into fists and he grit his teeth. "Know that Calla is the only thing keeping me from biting your head off your neck." He whispered, before walking over to Calla. "You only think that because of what Rose is making you think. You know deep down inside that that is not what is best for your people." He whispered gently. Sam nodded. "I'll try to make one." She flashed a small silver whistle. "Think it will work?"
"That's so nice big brother." She said. "Thanks I reeled love." she looked at them and rolled her eyes. "James but it Rose is right." She looked at him. "She's right why can't you see it? I thought you would understand that but I guess I was wrong." She said.
"Come on Calla let's go get started." Calla nodded and followed her.
"Yeah."
James sighed and let them go. He wasn't going to fight them, not when it would hurt Calla. Sam nodded and blew on the whistle. James jumped up, along with every other hell hound within a mile, and they all went to Sam. Sam's eyes widened and she dropped the whistle. "Well I didn't mean to do that..."
James smiled when he realized what had happened, and he told the other hell hounds to leave in the demon tongue. "You guys trying to get into hell?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Pretty nasty place down there you know..."
Calla followed her sadly. "Your sad about my brother not caring?" She asked. "He never did not about his family. He's a softy now." She said. "You don't want to be a softy?""No I want to be evil." She said.
"Yes you do." She smiled.
"We need to tell you need a Heavenly sword to separate them." He said. He was surprised. "I guessed it worked."
James nodded. "Yeah it worked." He shook his head slowly. "Ok. A sword. Wonderful. Its great that what we need is one of the hardest things to come by in heaven..." He sighed. "But I can try to get one."Sam raised an eyebrow. "How risky is it?" She asked.
James shrugged. "Like a 50/50 chance for survival."
Calla followed Rose around like a puppy. She would do anything she want. And if she wanted her to be evil. She would be evil. She looked at her with a smile."We still have to think what Calla would say. She probably wouldn't let you do it." Danny said. "I don't want you coming with the sword back and dying and us brining her back and she would kill herself without you."
James sighed. "So I leave her the way she is? I don't think so. Like I said. There is a 50/50 chance. I could very well come back alive as well." He reminded them. Sam sighed. "I think Danny is right on this one, James. Isn't there any other way to separate them?"
"But if you don't come back you have twins. Calla will become nothing. She will kill herself you and I both know that. Then your kids wouldn't have any parents." He said. He looked at her. "Maybe Josh will no we could summon one?"Calla followed her to a place. It was dark and creepy and there were was things. She saw something a pretty necklace that would make her turn evil if she wanted to do. Her eyes widen it was so pretty.
James sighed. "Fine. But if we don't find another way, then I am going up there." He said firmly. Sam sighed. "Josh could summon one, you think?" She asked Danny.
"Put it on. This belong to James he was going to give it to the person he loves most. This will make as evil as he was." She said.She smiled some and placed it on her. Her eyes started to flash until it settle black.
"We are going to pay a visit to him." She said. "Teleport us there." Calla nodded and teleport them there. "Hi James again. Did you see the necklace I found of yours doesn't it fit well. She is the person you love after all." She stepped out of the way to show them the new Calla.
"I thought she couldn't be turned?" He asked.
James's eyes widened. "She can't be! Where did you find that!?" He stood up, staring at the necklace. That wasn't supposed to be found...Somewhere, back where Josh was, he suddenly gasped and fell against the ground, struggling for breath. The necklace was draining his energy, as it was slowly breaking the spell he put on Calla.
Sam frowned. "What is that necklace?" She asked, wondering why James was glaring at it...
"At your place James. Actually I didn't find it she did." She smirked. "But you know what's sad is you have two choices here let the necklace work temporally and make it kill her brother or break the spell that her brother put on it and let the curse take over. " she paused. "You do remember saying this would be the thing to turn the person who love most evil. And the that only she could find it because she loves you.""James um if you let Josh die um a Calla might flip on you."
James growled. "I am well aware of that Danny. But I am not going to let her go dark. I know the pains of that first hand, and I do not wish it on her." He said softly. "You forget. The necklace only makes the wearer as evil as I wish them to be. And the evil in it, can never surpass the evil in my own heart."Josh relaxed against the ground, sighing.
"Ouch too late he's dead fine. You won't don't that." She looked at him. "Calla take the necklace off." She did so. "Calla James just let Josh died." Calla looked at James her faced pale. "He's not dead he can't be." She said running to see him laying there. Calla had tears coming in her eyes. "Josh big brother."
"We both know that you can have Calla hate you or bring Josh back and let her have the necklace on. Even if you say no to the second option I have my ways." She said.
Danny knew this wasn't good.
James grit his teeth and stayed silent. He hated that Josh had to die, but he would not. Could not do something that horrible to Calla. "You have your ways? Hah. I'd like to see this, 'lil sis. I highly doubt it." He hissed. Sam bit her lip. Josh was dead and Calla was going dark? Not good. Not good at all.
"I do have my ways." She said. "You taught me everything I know." She said. She looked back at Calla.Calla looked at James. "Bring my brother back now." Her eyed burned with fire and the storms started to move around. "Bring him back"
"James I think you should bring him back. Trust me on this. We need Josh to do what we need to do." To save Calla he said to himself.
James wanted to scream and just attack everyone in the room. But he kept his cool, and glared down his sister. He didn't move at all, but in that same instant, Josh gasped and woke up, getting onto his shaking legs. Sam sighed softly. "He's alive."
Josh immediately turned on James. "You broke the spell!" He shouted. "You stupid worthless sonofa-"
"Josh." Sam interrupted. "He didn't have a choice."
Josh glared. "Oh yes he did! He could have let me die! What, does he like me more than he likes Calla?"
James spun then. "Of course I don't. I can kill you again if you wish, you ungrateful wimp." He spat. "I did it to shut Danny and my sister up."
Sam glared. "Hey! Do talk that way."
James growled, "Sta

"Awe they are fighting over you." Rose said. She looked at Calla . "Now Calla say good bye to your very dysfunctional family because my brother won't make you evil I know of some place else." She smiled evilly."Big brother" She smiled and hugged him. She then turned and hugged James. "Thank you for saving him again." She whispered. She walked over back to Rose happy and content.
"Now teleport us back." Calla nodded her head and did just that.
They were gone. "Thank we need Josh to summon an angle and ask it a favor. So we can save Calla before that crazy chic turns her evil. All matters is that we can do it before Calla gets evil." He said. "I had this plan thank you very much James. Of course you could reverse this let Josh die. Go on. a death trip come back give us the sword die. We save Calla and she would be left with no one at all ,but us and you know how Calla is." He said glaring at them both.
Meanwhile Rose was looking for a way to turn her evil. "Now Calla I see you liked that necklace but it will do us no good because James wont let it turn you. But I can get another one just like that." She poofed one in her hands. "Now put it on. It will have the same effect but it will let me control the evil in you." Calla nodded her head. She put the other necklace on and she started to change.
"I have another idea." He paused. "This one would be easier than the other one. Maybe we could get James to be an angel again so if she would be evil James could take it out." Danny looked at them. He had this gut feeling again. "Something bad is happening. Your sister made a copy the necklace and made it be able for her to control the evil that Calla can take." He shook his head. "Option one is no more."
James shook his head. "I can't just become an angel. It's not that simple. Becoming an angel for me is harder than you becoming an angel, both of which are almost impossible." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "What?" Sam asked. "Calla is evil!? Not good. James. You have to become an angel." She insisted.
James shook his head. "Like I said, it's not that easy. Especially after I've been a demon for so long." He sighed softly.
"Well it's the only option we have. If we got the sword and stabbed her she would die. We need an angel to take the evil out then stabbed her with the sword." He said. "Your sister likes showing off and bragging. She wants your approval. So she will come and show us or maybe James could go under cover?" He said. Calla stood there not moving. Her eyes were black wholes. "Sit on the throne James will come." She said. Calla nodded and did that.
"We need to save her somehow. But she still care about James and Josh right?"
James frowned. "Go undercover as what? What exactly do you want me to do? Become an angel? Stab someone? Go undercover? What? I am so confused."Sam frowned. "Yes, I think she would still care about them, but why would that matter?" She asked Danny.
"In order to break the binding on the you have stabbed the one with the heart of gold with the sword. Which would be Calla." He paused. "Calla trusts you so maybe if she thinks you like the ideas and things you could try to bring her back. While Sam,Josh,and I find the sword?" He suggested.Calla sat there and waited.
James nodded. "So I just buy time while you go look for the sword?" He asked. Sam nodded. "Sounds like it. Good luck."
James nodded. "And to you too." He took off and flew to Calla. It took him a couple of minutes, but he got there in good time. "Hullo again." He said casually, smiling.
Calla jumped off the throne and ran to him. His sister put her in a black mini dress. Calla was dark. "James." She smiled. "Every one is afraid of me here they don't want you to hurt them." She said. "Were we going to live here it's beautiful." She said. "Any ideas?" Danny asked.
James smiled and hugged her, sighing softly. "Yes. It is." He said, kissing the top of her head. "Is everyone scared of you, or me?" He asked. Sam nodded. "We have to meet an angel somewhere." She said. "Know of any angels?" Then she bit her lip. "Or maybe you could kill me, and when the angels come to collect me, you could bring me back again?"
She hugged him back. She smiled at him. "Yes." Calla wasn't completely evil yet. She just looked evil. "James we are going to live here all we need to do is sit on your thrones so hell can come on Earth." She said with a smile. "No I don't know of any angels." He paused. "I don't really want to kill you or hurt you even if I were to bring you back"
James shook his head. "I don't want to sit on my throne any longer Calla. You can sit on it if you wish." He said softly. "But I will not." He didn't want to be as evil as he had been. He would still be evil, but just not as cruel.Sam nodded and sighed. "Yeah, I know. But if it is the only way to get angels to come here, then you must do it." She whispered, looking down. "Just kill me Danny, and get it over with." she whispered.
She looked up at him with a frown. "But James it's the only way for the plan to work." She said. "It's your throne I'm your queen I need the king." She said. Her eyes batted softly at him.He looked at her. "No I can't kill you." He said. "I just can't." He looked down. "I'm sorry I can't."
"Calla maybe he doesn't want you anymore? Or maybe he came to distract you." Rose said.
James sighed. "Yes, you are my queen, and I am your king, but I can not sit up there again. I sat up there too long. It's just a cruel reminder of what I was." he said softly, begging her to understand. Sam sighed. "It's either you do it, or Josh does. I would rather you did it. But Josh can too if you will not help me with this." She said softly.
Calla looked at him hurt. "But the plan we need to sit there for the plan. " she said. She looked in his eyes. "We have to sit there for the plan to work." She felt hurt that he wouldn't do the plan. "Come on James." She said dragging him to the throne. "Please sit down." She said. He shook his head no. "I'm sorry I can't do it." He whispered softly.
James looked at the seat and shuddered, closing his eyes. He tried to push away the flashbacks that came from looking at it, but he couldn't. He was hit hard with visions of all the terrible things he did from that throne, and he moaned, falling to his knees and holding his head. He shook it back and forth. "No! No. Please no. I can't!" he cried. Sam nodded, sighing sadly. "Ok. Josh!" She called.
He walked in. "Yeah?"
Sam looked up at him. "Kill me. We'll bring me back later, don't worry."
Josh nodded, and without a second thought, he pulled out his knife and stabbed her in the heart.
Calla looked at him heart broken. Her heart was aching now. He didn't want her. Rose was right he was being selfish. Her eyes darkened with anger. Calla snapped. "Get up from the ground and sit there." Dark clouds swarm around the sky and her. She was becoming more evil. He didn't get up. She teleported him on the chair and sat on his lap kissing him softly to distract him.Danny squeezed his eyes shut. "I can't look." He whispered.
James jerked in shock when he was teleported somewhere, but then Calla's lips where on his, and he relaxed, kissing her back softly. Everything would have been fine, if his fingers hadn't have brushed the arm of the throne. He jerked, recognizing the feel of it, his wings bristling. He leaped up, his eyes wide with terror, his whole body trembling. He stumbled back, falling backwards and crawling away. He scrambled to the corner of the room and curled up, his wings around himself, shaking.Josh caught Sam's dead body and lay her down gently on the bed. "So what was the purpose of that?" He asked, cleaning his knife and putting it away.
Calla looked up at him when he moved. He stopped kissing her. He never did that before. He didn't help her when she needed help. He wasn't helping her now. She backed away slowly trying to hide the tears. She didn't say a thing else. She wanted to get pay back on someone. Starting with her aunt. She frowned some and went to her aunt. "Good girl remember James doesn't love you." Callas head snapped up.
"He's not capable of love." She said bitterly teleporting him back to them.
Danny notice James. "It's suppose to make an angel come. James you have to save Sam so you have a chance to be an angel."
James was trembling. He looked up, terror, and sorrow in his eyes. If he could cry, he would have been. "I-I can't. I'm not good enough to be an angel." He whispered, curling up again and hiding, trembling like a leaf in the wind. Josh raised an eyebrow. "What happened to him?"
Danny bit his lip. "James you can save Sam. You are good enough to be an angel. Whatever Calla said or did. It wasn't her doing it. Calla isn't Calla until we find an angel and your the only one who can be one. Don't just do of for me or Sam. If you don't do it Calla will be gone for ever." He said.Calla walked to her aunts. She wasn't there. She let the whole village on fire.
James nodded slowly and stood. His eyes were almost glazed over as he walked over and healed Sam. His black wings slowly burned away to reveal white ones, his black hair taking on a slightly browner tinge. He pulled out the heavenly sword at his hip and gave it to Danny. "split Calla and my sister." He whispered, begging. Sam woke up then, looking around in surprise. The first thing she noticed was James. "You're an angel? How did we manage that?"
Danny nodded his head. He took a shaky breath. "Sam I'll be right back with Calla." He whispered and kissed her softly and left to go find Calla. He walked teleported to her. He saw her burning the village. "Calla stop this isn't you." He said. "Yes it is." She said coldly.
He sighed and mentally through he necklace off of her. She stumbled around some. Her eyes were blue again. He ran up to her. "I'm sorry but this could hurt just a little bit." He said and stabbed her. He pulled it out and caught her. She still had taints of darkness left on her. He teleported quickly back and handed her limp body to James.
Calla felt the darkness in her break out and hurt. Her faced winced as the pure light from James was there. She trembled some in his arms. As the darkness diminished. Her eyes fluttered some. "James?" She whispered softly.
James suddenly found Calla in his arms. He looked down at her, surprised and worried, and held her gently to him "Yes." He nodded. "Are you alright?"Sam immediately ran to Danny. "Are you ok?" she asked. "Everything went ok?"
"James I had this awful nightmare" she whispered. "This crazy chick claimed to be you sister and took me bad things happened." She whispered softly. "Yeah I'm fine." She looked up at him. "James did you know your glowing kinda of.""Yep." He said.
James sighed softly. "Sounds strange." He said, then he smiled and raised an eyebrow. "I am, am I?"Sam smiled and hugged him. "Great."
"You are." She said with a smile. "It was awful nightmare." She said. She sat up. "Your an angel?" She asked.
James nodded. "Yeah, it would seem so." He smiled gently. "I saved Sam. Guess this comes with that." He explained. He didn't tell her how much he was hurting inside from what had happened with the throne. Sam smiled. "Yes, thank you for that. Shall we get a snack, Danny? I'm starved."
"But why did you save her from what? And what happened?" She asked. "I'm really confused." She said. "I'm taking that my nightmare wasn't a nightmare that mean I said those mean things to you." Her faced pale. "James I'm sorry i didn't mean any of about how you can't love." She stopped and looked in his eyes. "Your the most lovelable person here in this room. And your not a cold hearted demon even when you were a demon." She said.He smiled at him. "I can't cook but you can." He smiled.
James nodded and ruffled his hair when she figured it out. His wings drooped limply when she talked about what she had said. He shook his head, looking down and away. "You didn't know me back then." He whispered. "The throne just reminded me of what I was." He winced and looked away, remembering how she had forced him to sit on it. Sam nodded. "Yes, and I can cook something up for us. Shall we go?" She asked.
She knew he wasn't going to forgive her. She slipped down out of his arms. "I didn't know what I was doing. It was all a terrible nightmare." She said. She walked slowly to the bed. "I'm going to get some sleep." She was hurting inside. She covered up with a blanket and let a tear trickled down her face."Yes we can" he smiled. He took her hand and started to walked off.
James almost thought she was going to apologize there for a moment, but then she just walked off, leaving him even more wounded then before. He nodded numbly and left her alone to sleep, walking out in the hallway with a broken heart. She really didn't care about him. Sam smiled and walked with him to the kitchen, before starting to make some food.
She let the tears come quicker down her face. She didn't know what she was doing it was a nightmare that's all she knew it was. She closed her eyes and started to have nightmares how he left her. She snapped her eyes open. She stared off into space. Her heart was hurting.He smiled at her. "I'm glad we don't fight or argue."
"James it's for the better. I know it's right." She said.
"A magical whistle like for hellhounds?" He asked.
