Once Upon A Time and Lara

Sam nodded, clinging to him. "Thank you." She smiled up at him. She wanted to express how much she loved him, but she couldn't do that with words. So she leaned up and showed him, by locking her lips with his.

He smiled and kissed her back softly. He started to let the light pour out of him.

Sam reached her arms up and wrapped them slowly around his neck, tangling her fingers in his hair. She smiled against his lips, tipping her head a little to better the connection. I love you so much.

He smiled and nodded his head. He felt energy shift in the castle. He looked up about to say I love you. "Do you feel that shift something is wrong." He said. He was very sensitive to the energy changes. He was feeling sick. "I feel sick."

Sam looked up at him, worried. "Energy shift? I felt it yeah, but I'm not sure what it was... Are you alright?" She held his arm to steady him and began leading him to their bedroom.

"I don't know," he whispered. He swayed some more before collapsing. His face was pale. "Check Calla and James energy?" He asked.

Sam shook her head. "No. I am not leaving you like this." Struggling a little, she got her arms beneath him, and with great effort, lifted him up. Draping one of his arms over her shoulders, she started to walk slowly to the bedroom. When they finally reached it, she practically collapsed with him onto the bed. "How can I help you?" She asked, panting.

He wanted to protest. He didn't say anything though to weak to move his mouth. He shook his head no.

Sam moved him onto his back gently so he would be more comfortable. "Danny, please baby, don't do this to me." she whispered, scared that she didn't know what was wrong, scared because she didn't know how to help him. She started pouring her energy into him.

"Don't so that I'm fine. Just sensitive to the energy." He whispered.

Sam gripped his hand, wanting so badly to give him energy and help him, but she honored his request and nodded slowly, stopping the stream of energy. "Please get better." She asked him gently.

"I will." He said.

Sam stiffened. Her hair turned silver, and so did her lips. Her eyes changed dark royal-blue, with flecks of silver. Her skin glowed softly. She got up and walked slowly to Calla, smiling when she reached her.

He looked around confused.

Sam nodded. She got down on her knees, and then bowed to Calla. She was completely submissive and obediant.

Danny was still very weak to go find Sam.

Sam stayed where she was, not moving. She was still under Calla's control.

Sam was still not moving, she was waiting for orders as to what she should do.

Danny was waiting for Sam.

Sam got up, shaking her head. She frowned and walked back to Danny. She immediately sat down beside him. "Are you ok?" She asked worried.

"Yeah I'm ok." He whispered.

Sam nodded, sighing thankfully. "Good." she smiled weakly. "Cause I'm not." Her eyes rolled back into her head and she passed out beside him.

"Sam."He picked her up and held her. He rocked her. "Someone help." He whispered.

Sam didn't wake up. She stayed limp in Danny's arms, her head lolled back. Her body was weak, and changing. She wasn't taking to her encounters with the shimmer magic too well. She had been controlled one too many times.

Danny was scared. "Sam." He whispered.

Sam changed, her hair, lips, and eyes turning shiny again. She got up stiffly and started walking to Calla. Her eyes were dead and lifeless, and they didn't have their usual sparkle.

"Josh." He said. He got up weakly. "Josh something bad is happening."

Sam arrived and smiled at Calla, happy and willing as ever to be serving her. Her eyes still held a dull quality to them though.
Josh walked into the room. He crossed his arms. "What?" He asked suspiciously. "You look pretty bad, but please tell me that's not the only reason you need my help."

"Sam Calla. Something wrong." He said. "Help." He looked at Josh. His face was pale. "I'm fine. More worried about Sam."

Sam moved towards him, and clamped her hand on his arm, trying to drag him down.
James let her pull him to his knees, not wanting either of the girls to get hurt. He watched Calla with a hurt expression on his face for as long as he could, before Sam shoved his head forwards and he was forced to bow. His wings fell limply at his sides in defeat, their feathers dragging in the dust on the ground.
Josh nodded. "I'll go check on them." He assured him. He walked into the room and saw what was going on. He swore softly. "Calla! Wake up!" He shouted at her. "You're controlling your best friend, and making her humiliate your husband! Do you want that!?"

Her aunt picked her up and sucked all her magic or at least she thought. She was thrown on the ground. Calla gasped for air. Her aunt was gone. "James I love you." She closed her eyes. She wasn't dead yet.
Danny followed and saw the events unfold.

Sam made herself stronger and forced him down again. She was still under orders to make him bow.
James struggled and managed to stand. "Sam, let go. I need to get to Calla."
Sam kept struggling, trying harder and harder to follow her orders.
James realized it was no use. He couldn't just knock Sam out to stop her, she was technically already unconscious. Calla was dying, and if he didn't stop Sam, he would lose Calla. "I'm sorry Sam" He whispered, and stopped her in the quickest way he knew how... by snapping her neck. He made sure to do it with a spell so she couldn't be healed and come after him again.
Sam fell limply on the stones, her hair and eyes turning back to normal. She stared lifelessly off into the distance, her head twisted at an awkward angle.
James ran over to Calla and knelt beside her. After healing her of any injury she may have, he started pouring his energy into her, "Come on." He whispered. "Please stay with me."

He ran to Sam. "James fix her. Fix her." He was shaking.

Sam's skin was pale, making her freckles stand out. Her hair was messy from fighting James. She looked so forlorn and alone there on the cold hard tiles.

"Thank you." He whispered to calla. He held Sam hoping in would work. "Come on." He said,

Sam moaned softly and shifted, whimpering a little at the pain in her neck. She didn't open her eyes. She didn't have the energy to. "Danny.....?" She mumbled, her hand groping to try and find him.

"I'm holding you." He whispered. Healing her neck.

Sam nodded, relaxing when the pain went away. "Don't let go." she whispered, reaching her hand over to hold his. She leaned her head against him and closed her eyes.

"I won't." He told her.

Sam nodded, smiling weakly. "Thank you." she whispered, before she relaxed as she fell asleep in his arms. She was over tired from everything.

Sam didn't respond. She was still sleeping peacefully in his arms, a small smile on her face.

He gently move her to the bed.
"I won't." He whispered.
