Once Upon A Time and Lara
"Big brother come back." She begged. The wind picked up then it stopped. "Josh please say something." Danny was super scared.
James stared at Josh's body, looking for any sign of movement. "Are you sure it worked?" He whispered. Sam frowned. "It should have. There was all that fancy wind and stuff..." She pointed out, watching Josh carefully as well.
Suddenly Josh flinched, and then groaned softly. He sat up slowly and rubbed his head. "What the heck just..." He looked at his hands. His eyes grew very wide. "Are you freaking kidding me? I have a body!?"
"Yes you have body." She whispered."Your body never actually died." She whispered softly. "We need your help." She said looking at her brother. "Can we let go."
"Yes we can Danny"
James let go slowly and stared at Josh. So they had just brought him back to life? He was... alive? A human? Or a witch?Josh stood slowly. "Right. Oh, hi Calla. You obviously missed me I see." He rolled his eyes. "Nice warm welcome, you immediately ask me for help."
Sam sighed. "Josh we do really need your help. Calla had this vision where all the starlighters along with James were being controlled."
Josh raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? How were they being controlled?"
"Before we talk about that. The voice was real. Even ask James it was his brother who did all that." She said looking at him. She looked at him. "I would never in a million years tell you your not my brother because you are and I love you." She whispered. "Your my big brother." She sent Josh the vision she had."Ok is he alive temporally?"
Josh sighed. "I'm sorry too calla, for what I said. I was just hurt." He looked down for a moment, and fidgeted. He walked over to Calla and hugged her gently. "I love you too." He whispered. Sam looked away. "Well this is all nice and good, but we have a situation at hand?"
James shrugged at Danny. "Yes, the situation? Josh, Calla? Can we get back to that now?"
She hugged him back with a smile on her face. "So yeah about the situation?" She asked Josh. "I don't know how she did but she does." She whispered."Your aunt must have something that we don't know about."
Josh nodded. "Yeah, but like what?" He asked, shifting from foot to foot. James looked over at him. "We were hoping you would know..."
Josh shrugged. "I don't really. Unless one of you have an idea, we have no way to know what she is up to."
Sam sighed. "So she might have something though? Like an object that would control things?"
Josh nodded. "Seems possible. And how long am I going to be alive for? Forever? Or just a couple of minutes?"
"About that." She said looking down. "So I know your not suppose to bring people back. But your body was alive so i just really put you soul back in your body." She whispered. "You brought him back to life." Danny asked shocked.
Josh nodded and grinned. "I'm alive! Wow. You guys don't even know how lucky you all are to be alive. It is the most wonderful thing... ever!"Sam grinned. "Well it's nice to see you so chipper for once."
James laughed as well. "Glad to have you back with us."
"He's always been like this." She said with a smile. She was so happy. "So Josh what do know about Shimmers?" She asked. Danny looked at her brother. "Someone's happy." He said.
Josh turned. "Shimmers? The fire crazy shiny things?" He nodded. "I know of them. They're rare, and dangerous." He said honestly. Sam rolled her eyes. "Ya think? Are they ever going to get back to the situation at hand?"
James shrugged. "I hoped they do soon."
"I'm getting there Sam. Josh do know the Shimmers powers and limits with things?" She asked. "Josh we know that much."
Josh nodded. "Yeah. I am fairly familiar with them." He looked over at them. "Why the sudden interest?"Sam sighed. "Because Calla is a shimmer." She explained.
James nodded. "And she's been burning Sam and Danny by accident. We need help with that."
"I was getting to that." She said. She looked at her brother. "I don't know how it happened. " "Yeah me in practically." He said,
Josh's eyes widened. "You're a...? Oh never mind." He sighed softly. "You'll be in control of your powers as long as you can control your emotions. Your powers and emotions are directly linked. No more grudges, or you'll burn someone to a crisp. You have to forgive."James nodded. "I figured."
Sam bit her lip. "So that means she hasn't forgiven Danny or I?"
She looked at her brother. "I forgave you guys. When I did when that Suzy girl was there I still didn't wasn't quite myself. I felt like needed to do it for the power. The reason I wasn't myself. I just wanted to do it." She whispered."There's your answer."
Josh nodded. "Makes sense. I wasn't saying you hadn't forgiven anyone. I was just warning you that hate will be your biggest enemy."Sam smiled over at Calla, glad her friend was not mad at her.
James nodded and sighed. "So. The controlling. Calla, do you know of an object that could control demons and starlighters?"
"No it's impossible to kill a demon unless if you someone a deal or favor. Or your end of a bargain." She said.
"James you don't oh any deals to her aunt."
James scratched the back of his neck. "Haha, yeah...." He bit his lip. "About that."Sam frowned. "You do owe her something, don't you?"
"What do you owe?" She asked. "James what is it?" "Yeah what do you owe?"
((I will super slow cause I have a brace on my wrist.))
((ok. and aw, what happened?))James fidgeted and looked down. "Um, uh, I'm going to be right back." He took off into the skies, flying as fast as he could. His heart was pounding hard. It better not be gone, it better not be gone, it better not be gone....
Sam frowned. "What's up with him?"
Josh laughed softly. "Trust issues."
((Well I sprain a ligament didn't know you could do that))"This isn't funny big brother." She said glaring at him. "You know you could of been alive sooner if you would of asked what mom and dad did with your body." She said. "I hope it isn't nothing."
"Does the deal of him suppose to kill you count?"
"Yes and no." She said.
((Ouch!))Josh nodded. "Yeah I guess. And yeah, that one counts, because she gave him something, and he didn't give what he was supposed to in return..."
Sam bit her lip. "So he owes her because he didn't kill Calla?"
Josh nodded. "Precisely."
James searched through all of the junk in his hold. He went through everything, but the one thing he was looking for was gone. He raked his hands through his hair. "Not good. Not good at all. Oh I am in so much trouble."
((Yep))She had an idea but will only do that. "I'm going to see what's taking him so long." She whispered. She teleported to James. "James what's wrong?" She asked. "What are you looking for?" She looked at James.
"Ok but that didn't seem to cross his mind." He said.
Sam nodded and sighed. "Guess not."Josh shrugged. "Well it obviously seemed like an easy deal to him at the time."
James shook his head. "The contract, the contract is gone."
"James what contract?" She said. She looked at him. "Please tell me what's wrong?" She asked looking at him. "Was the contract shiny?" She asked."Yeah probably." He said,
James shook his head. "The one for me deal regarding you." He said softly. "Its gone, and that means the deal fell through..." He shook his head and huffed. "Now I have to pay the price."Sam shrugged and sighed. "How does he get out of this one?" She asked softly.
"Was like wrapped in a gold band and all fancy an official?" She asked. "That had like my name on it." She said. "And your signing?" She asked again. "If so I have it like in a secret place" "I don't know."
James raised his eyebrows. "How did you get it?" He asked curiously.Sam nodded and sighed. "Well, I dont know about you guys, but all of this excitement has made me hungry."
"Well it was shiny and i took all the shiny things." She said. "I didn't mean to take all the shiny things" she said,"Yeah me too. Look at that you can eat now. Sam's the better cook."
James nodded. "I'm glad you did. We better make sure it didn't disintegrate though."Josh nodded. "Yeah, we all can eat food! haha, lets go make some of it."
Sam nodded. "Hold on." She teleported them all to the kitchen.
She nodded her head. And poof it in her hands. She looked at the shiny on it. "It's so shiny." She whispered. "Is this it?" She asked. He smiled at Sam.
James nodded, grabbing the contract. "Yes." He breathed, sighing in relief. Sam smiled back.
Josh rolled his eyes. "So what do you two lovers want for food?"
She smiled at him. "It's shiny." She said. "Shiny." She said happily and hugged."I don't want your cooking if anything you could cook like your sister."
James nodded and smiled, hugging her back. Josh snorted. "No. It's not." He retorted.
Sam raised an eyebrow. "Then what can you cook?"
Josh fidgeted. "Um, well, I, um... I can learn."
Sam laughed. "I'll do the cooking."
She smiled."James why do I keep blanking out." She whispered. "It hurts a lot." She said. "I'm fighting the shimmer side so hard." She said."That's what I thought"
James shook his head. "I don't know honey. I really don't know." He said softly. Josh glared. "Don't rub it in."
Sam chuckled a little and started making spaghetti.
She looked at him and nodded her head. She didn't say she was frighten. Her body felt cold now. Something was wrong. She felt weak. She smiled at him. "I'm hungry." She didn't looked well.He glared right back.
James nodded. "We can go get some food if you want." He offered. sam rolled her eyes. "Cool it you two." She said, adding sauce to her spaghetti.
"Ok." She said with a smile.He nodded his head.
James nodded and picked her up, flying her into the kitchen. He landed smoothly and put her down, smiling when he saw Sam already making something for them.Sam finished the spaghetti and brought the pot over. "Help yourselves." she told them, going back to grab plates and utensils.
She smiled weakly. "James can you grab me a plate." She asked."Is she ok? You don't look so well"
James nodded and got her and himself a plate and fork. "I don't know. Are you feeling ok Calla?" He asked.Sam sat down beside Danny, handing him a plate as well. She scooped out some food for herself.
She looked up. "I don't feel too well."She whispered."Thanks." He smiled at her.
James frowned a little. "What do you feel? Sick? Tired? Weak?"Sam smiled back. "No problem." She dished out some for him as well, before starting to eat her food.
"Everything." She whispered. Her face was pale. Danny smiled,
James nodded, a worried expression on his face. He picked her up and carried her bed, laying her down gently and tucking her in. "Let me know how I can help."Sam finished her food and started washing the dishes.
Sam gripped Danny and Calla's hand tightly, her eyes closed. The wind was growing stronger and stronger, and Sam was afraid it would pull them apart.
