James kissed her back, growing stronger from the fire. His own core started to heat up. He wrapped his arms around her.Sam nodded, hugging him close. "I know. She's burned me before too."
She felt the fire. She thought about Danny again. She didn't mean to it just happened.He screamed in pain. "It's burning again."
James felt the fire leave him. "Focus on me!" He pulled her to face him. "Focus on me Calla."Sam clung to him, fowning in worry. "Im going to take your pain. I cant see you like this." Sam blocked the pain from Danny and transfered it to herself.
Calla looked at James. She tired thinking that James did to make her upset. She ran through the possibilities in her head. She was upset when he was the demon the whole time the anger she felt. She pushed the fire to James. She made sure it engulfed him.The pain was gone. He was shaking. "Sam. I'm tired." He whispered weakly.
James felt the fire fill him again, but this time his whole body. He was tingling with power and he smiled a little. "Good. You did it. Good job."Sam hugged him gently, pouring a little energy into him. "I know. Its gone now, the pain. You'll be ok, just rest." Sam lay his head in her lap and ran her fingers through his hair gently.
Calla looked at him. She was really weak from using a lot of power. She sighed and closed her eyes. She couldn't stop the fire from going to him. She needed to stop. She slowly slipped out conscious. Everything was becoming fuzzy and blurry to her.He nodded his head. He closed his eyes. "Love you Princess."
James quickly cut off the fire he was recieving, and caught Calla. He held her gently. "Wake up baby. Its ok."Sam smiled down at him. "I love you too." She whispered gently.
She couldn't wake up. She just laid there limply in his arms. Her body didn't have enough fire in it. She needed fire. A different kind a shimmer must give her fire. Her body was ice cold. He smiled and fell asleep,
James started putting her fire back into her. "Come on. Wake up." He whispered.Sam smiled down at him and continued to stroke his hair gently.
She didn't wake up. She just laid there in his arms.He was having sweet dreams.
James kept giving her his power, along with her own, that she had given him.Sam smiled down at him.
She laid there.Danny woke. "Calla in trouble she needs shimmered energy." He whispered.
James kept pouring his energy into Calla. "Calla, you better wake up because im going to keep giving my energy until I run out."Sam bit her lip. "But I dont have shimmer energy!"
Calla didn't move. "James keeps giving her energy." Danny ran out to where they were. "Stop James. She needs shimmer energy."
((Im going to be on and off today cause I have family over.))James shook his head. "But I have her energy, I can give it back! I have to try..."
Sam bit her lip. "How do we get shimmer energy?"
((Ok))"It has to be from a shimmer." He said.
Calla laid there limply.
Sam frowned. "Where are we going to get another shimmer?"James kept putting his energy into Calla.
"I don't know." He paused. "James stop please. When calla wakes up she will need you to be alive." He said. Calla didn't move.
"Maybe James can go in her mind and unblock whatever is keeping from getting his energy?"
James nodded. "I'll do that." he dove into her mind and searched around for the barrier. He broke it quickly, and came out again. Once he was back, he started giving her her energy again. Sam frowned a little. "Is this going to help?"
Callas body started to get energy back. Her body warmed up. She laid there still weak. Her hand flinched. "She just needs some rest." He whispered. "She doesn't need anymore energy for now."
James nodded slowly, picking her up. "Ok. Thanks guys." He carried her to her room and laid her down gently, tucking her in. "Sweet dreams."Sam sighed thankfully. "I'm glad she's ok."
She snuggled into him while he was carrying her. She was still a little cold. She went under the blankets for warmth. She was shivering every now and then."Yeah me too." He said.
James got into bed beside her, pulling her close and wrapping his wings around her to help warm her up some more.Sam smiled up at him. "Are you ok now Charming?"
She soaked up the heat and stopped shivering. She pushed against him. A faint smile appeared across her face.He nodded his head.
James ran his hand through her hair gently, smiling gently down at her. "I love you."Sam nodded and smiled. "Whew. I'm glad of that then."
Her eyes fluttered some. "James what happened?" She whispered weakly."Me too." He said.
James smiled at her, lifting his wings again. "You lost too much energy." He told her honestly. "You used it up by burning me."Sam smiled up at him. "So what do you want to do? And don't you dare say you don't care as long as you're with me. I want you to actually pick something this time."
"Sorry. I started to think about someone and what they did wrong to me and hurt me and it gets out of control" she said."What?" He said. "I never ever said something like that."
James nodded. "If you forgave them, you wouldn't have those feelings in the first place." He suggested gently. "That way you could control the fire."Sam laughed softly. "So what do you want to do?"
She nodded her head. "I'm sorry. I can't do anything. When it starts it won't stopped.""We could um play cards?"
James shook his head. "I know, but if you forgave Sam and Danny, and I, it wouldn't even start in the first place. There would be no reason for it to."Sam smiled. "Sounds good. As long as you don't mind losing..." She winked.
She didn't say anything. She looked everywhere but at him."Me losing?"
James sighed softly, and rested his hands on her shoulders. "I can't force you into anything Calla, nor would I want to. Is up to you to make a decision like this."Sam nodded. "You betcha." She poofed a deck of cards and began shuffling them, hopping up onto the bed.
"I did nothing wrong." She whispered. "They are the ones that hurt me." She said. "I forgave them already." She said. Which was a lie. She looked at him. "Why forgive someone who should say sorry first." She said,"Me never." He smiled
James sighed. "You should forgive people first, not just because they have said sorry. Both you and them don't deserve to live with the hate." He said softly. "I should know."Sam grinned. "Well I guess we'll see about that." She finished shuffling the cards. "We can bet on it if you want." She winked. "What game do you want to play?"
"Don't hate them. I thought about the things they did that made me upset." She said. "That's not a bad thing to do." She whispered. She was changing more and more into a shimmer. The first thing is her personality. Then her powers will keep changing. Then her memories then she will be a shimmer."No. I don't bet." He said.
James shook his head. "That's the point. If you had forgiven them, you wouldn't be upset about those things."Sam shrugged. "Sure. What game?"
She couldn't process anything. "I didn't forgave them."
He shook his head. "No, you didn't really."Sam nodded and began dealing. "Sounds good."
"I did though," she whispered. She looked at him. "They did nothing wrong to me to hurt me." She was getting used to lying. Something shimmers did often."Ready to lose?"
James shook his head. "Please stop lying to me Calla." He sighed. How often would she do this purposely to him?Sam laughed. "Nope! Are you ready to lose?"
"Lying?" She asked. Her eyes were widen. They weren't her eyes. You could tell it wasn't her in there. "I'm not lying. Danny's just a jerk." "No because I'm winning."
James frowned a little, partially because of her comment, and partially because of the shift in her eyes. "No he's not. Are you ok Calla?"Sam shook her head, looking at her cards. "Sure..." She got another pair. "But now i'm winning."
"Yeah I'm ok." She said looking at him. "Yeah he is he treats me awfully. He kept calling me witch and stuff like that. Rude I'm saying rude." She shook her head. "Then there was Sam she wouldn't leave me alone that day we meant. Then it turns out she wanted to pretend to be a friend than kill us. Then Josh knowing you were a demon. I wasn't mad at you cause you didn't know he could of told me I would of still stayed with you." She looked at him. "Then hex wouldn't listen to me about the voice the he killed himself and said I never had a brother." "I'm going to win this."
James sighed. "I know. But you have to try to forgive them." he said seriously. "Do you feel ok, do you feel normal?"Sam shook her head and laughed. "No you wont. I will."
"I feel ok. Just different. Forgiving people who doesn't deserve it." She looked at him. She felt the fire come back. She focused on Danny. She hated him so much. She let it burn him throughout his body.He nodded his head. "Yeah right." He screamed again. "She burning again." He said.
James noticed a particular glint in her eyes, and recognized it as hate. He frowned a little, and then his eyes widened. "Calla! Calla don't do that! Focus on me honey, no one else." He would rather her take out her anger on him than anyone else.Sam was immediately by his side. "Danny!" She hugged him against her. What do I do!? How do I help him? She tried to shield the pain from him. "It's going to be ok. It will. It's ok. You'll be ok." She said softly.
She looked at him. She stopped brining the fire to him. "Why stop when he deserves it?" She asked. She moved the fire on to Sam. "Why stop when they deserve it." Her eyes a particular evil in them. The reason shimmers are feared. The burning stopped. He looked around. "Sam?" He whispered.
"It burned so badly." He whispered.
