He nodded. "Mhm. Better keep me with you."Sam smiled, walking with him to the kitchen. She sat down and waited patiently.
"Shiny." She smiled. She took him to her stash. "secret don't tell anyone."He popped a steak for her.
James nodded. "I wont." He whispered back, smiling. Sam grinned and attacked the meat, playing with it before settling on the floor and eating it slowly. Thanks. She thought to him as she ate.
"Ok." She said with a smile. She took them to big stash of shiny things. Is everything in the castle and the village. "See."He smiled at her.
James nodded, biting his lip and worry. "It's beautiful honey." He whispered. Sam smiled back as she finished her food. Then she proceeded to lick her paws and face clean.
"I took them all last night everything shiny it's all mine" she said. "Now you are. I need to find more." She said with a smile."How did you like your food"
James shook his head. "Are you sure? If you have more, it will be harder to protect it. Why not just keep this stuff safe for now?" He asked.Sam smiled up at him, still licking her paws. Very good, thank you Charming.
"But more shiny." She said looking at him. "Shiny needs more shiny to play with." "Thank you."
James smiled. "I'm good. I have lots of shiny here to play with already."Sam smiled. No problem. She finished cleaning herself and sat up slowly again.
"Shiny needs more shiny?" She asked. She looked around. "Shiny master wants me to come."He smiled at her.
James frowned a little. "No please. Don't leave me here to get stolen!"Sam grinned. "So. Should we go look for James's broth-" Her eyes shifted so they were golden like a panther's and then back to their normal blue color. "What were we talking about?" She asked.
"Shiny master wants me. Ash the shiny master" she said louder."Yes."
James shook his head. "Don't leave me." He begged. "Stay here.""Yes?" She asked. "Yes what?" She was confused. Her eyes shifted again, to a golden color and stayed that way for a whole minute. When they shifted back, she blinked in confusion. "Am I dazing out or something?"
"Ash is calling me." She said. "Sam are you ok?"
James bit his lip. "Don't go."Sam shook her head. "I don't know..." Her eyes shifted again and she prowled off to go hunting. Her eyes shifted back and she immediately turned around and came back "Where was I going?" She asked. "What is going on?"
She looked at him. "Shiny coming?" He looked worried,
James shook his head. "I should stay here. Please stay here with me."Sam's eyes changed to gold again, and this time they didn't change back.
"Shiny coming?" She asked. She took his hand and took him with her. "Shiny master calling me and his kitty. Shiny." James Sam's acting weird
James nodded. You should see Calla. I've been christened 'Shiny'. He went hesitantly with her. "What do you mean his kitty?" He asked. "Sam?" Sam mewed, looking around. Then she disappeared as she was teleported from the kitchen and to Ash.
"Kitty's there. Shiny coming." She whispered. James Sam is gone.
"How's my cat?"
James's eyes widened. She's with Ash. Follow her teleportation trail and go get her. James kept moving willingly with Calla, figuring that there was no point in arguing with her. Sam sat down by Ash and purred loudly, rubbing her cheek against him.
He nodded his head."Shiny master and kitty waiting for me." She teleported to Ash
James sighed, leaping into the air. He followed her trail, moving towards her as quickly as he could.Sam purred louder when she spotted Calla. She sat obediently at Ash's heel.
"Hi Calla." He said to match James voice."Shiny?" She asked. "Kitty."
Danny got there soon but stood far away.
James arrived soon after. "Give them back!"Sam smiled and purred at her name, which she thought was 'Kitty'.
"Shiny." She looked not being able to tell who was who. "Give them back"
James looked over at Calla. "I'm shiny." He said seriously. Sam backed up behind Ash, mewing a little.
"Kitty attack the one who thinks he is shiny."She was confused. "Shiny?" She looked between them they both sounded the same.
"James I don't think she can tell the difference between you."
Sam leaped forwards, advancing with her fangs bared, claws extended.James backed up. "Calla! Its me! James!" He spoke it both outloud and to her mind.
She looked at them both sounded the same and looked."James try kissing her."
Sam pounced on James. He picked her up and threw her off. Running over to Calla, he kissed her gently.Sam lay limply on the ground where James had thrown her.
"James?" She whispered against his lips. She kissed him back softly.Danny ran over to Sam.
"Mhm." He said softly and kept kissing her. "I was worried about you." He pulled her into his arms. Sam opened her eyes and saw Danny. She got up weakly and limped away from him and over to Ash.
She looked into his eyes. A random fire came up from no where. She was still kissing him."Sam baby listen to me. Stop let her go."
"No Kitty kill the starlighter."
James held her gently against him and kept kissing her, slowly wrapping his wings around them both. Sam turned towards Danny and growled. She advanced slowly, her ears fattened against her head. She couldn't move very fast though, because she was limping and wasn't using one of her paws.
"I love you so much." She whispered. "Guys help Sam trying to kill me."
James smiled back. "I love you too. Does this mean you're not going to call me shiny any more?" He turned when he heard Danny. Walking over quickly, he fastened a collar and leash on Sam and held the end firmly. "Sam stop." He instructed. Sam ignored him and kept moving towards Danny, fangs bared.
James yanked on the collar to pull her back. "Kitty stop." He said, mimicking Ash's voice.
Sam stopped and sat down, licking her injured paw.
"You are my Shiny." She said with a smile. She looked at him. "Who caused that fire." She asked."You did and thanks. How are we going to fix her?"
James motioned to Ash. "He has to fix her." He said slowly, confused as to why Ash had just watched quietly this whole time. Sam lay down slowly and closed her eyes, mewing softly. She kept licking her bleeding paw.
"No not unless I have Calla as mine." He said. "She's not going to be able to control. Unless you become the shimmer master." He said. "You would have to kill me to be able to do that. And you wouldn't do that?" Calla paused for bit. "I'll come to save Sam." She whispered.
"James do something."
Pain flicked across James's eyes. I can't kill my own brother. And I'm not losing Calla... His face scrunched up in pain. "I can't." He whispered. "I can't do anything." He would rather keep Calla, and keep Ash alive, leaving Sam with him, then losing either Calla or Ash. "Sam has to stay. I'm sorry." He whispered. Sam was oblivious to what was going on, she just kept licking.
"Come on then Calla." She nodded her head and went over to him. He returned Sam to normal. "James remember a kiss works for everything."
Danny was shocked.
James frowned. "I said you could keep Sam, I didn't say you could keep Calla. What are you, deaf?" He pulled Calla into his arms and kissed her deeply, wrapping his arms slowly around her.Sam was in her normal body, but now she was unconscious on the ground. Her left hand was shattered and bleeding, and her consciousness was missing.
Calla pushed away. "James I have to save Sam." She said looking at him. She had tears coming down her face. She walked over and let him take over her. She felt the power come to her. "Shiny master." She said happily. Ash gave back Sam her memories and counisous and fixed her up.
Danny looked at James and Calla. Then Sam.
James frowned. She wanted to leave? Fine. See if he cared. "Fine. Just leave me then." He growled, flapping his wings and flying away. "You both got what you wanted. Hope you're happy!" He shouted back to them before disappearing. Sam got up slowly and groaned, rubbing her head. "What just happened?"
Calla looked at James. She started gasping for air. "What's wrong with her?" Ash asked. "She's needs James. Her hearts shatter. Calla just saved you." He whispered.
Calla fell down. "Shiny." She whispered. "Where's shiny?" She looked around. She couldn't see shiny. Also known as James. She felt he leave and looked around. "Shiny?" She came to the conclusion that shiny didn't want her. Her faced pale and her breaths slow down.
"She's over reacting for my stupid brother. He's nothing like I am."
James flew far away until he reached the high lonely peak in hell. He sat on his rock and stared down into the chasm. "Why does this always happen to me!? It seems to be my lot in life..." He sighed and looked down. "Well I'm not putting up with it anymore."Sam's eyes widened. She turned on Ash. "Of course he's nothing like you are. You're evil and mean and a coward." She shouted at him, running over to Calla. She healed Calla's heart. "Calla, you have to go after James and get him back before he does something stupid." She said, helping her sit up. "You need to go get him now!"
"Ok."
