She thought for a moment."no"He smiled at her.
I can show you your past. Do you want to see it? He asked, stepping even closer.
"My past is the council decisions to see if I can remember or not."
No its not. Shouldn't you be able to make decisions for yourself? I think you deserve that right. He told her, now close to her.
"I'm under council orders."
Haven't you ever heard of breaking rules? You can easily do what you want. He told her, smirking.
"Your just another demon the council warned me about." She said moving away from him.
Just another demon honey? We're married, but I guess you wouldn't know that. He smiled down at her. Tsk tsk, such a powerful girl and she's scared of a demon and disobeying a group of old fogeys.
"I wouldn't marry a demon." She said looking at him. She was getting angry. "Now please leave"
No, you're right, you married a witch, who was really a demon. Either way, you married a demon. He smiled. I'm not going anywhere darling.
Fire started to go up the curtains."James I'm taking Sam out of here." He picked her up and teleported her somewhere safe.
The flames grew. "Now leave." She said.
James shrugged, "Why should I? I promised you I would never leave you again. I am not about to break that promise." He said, his black eyes glittering in the flames.Sam rested against him, as the heat had burned her a little.
"I have no clue what you are talking about." She said. "Now go before the council comes."
"That's because you've forgotten. And I can make you remember." He said, his voice soft, rich, and low.
"I will not kiss you or touch you. I'm not going to be doomed to loving a demon for the rest of my life."
"I'm not asking for a kiss darling. I can make you remember another way." he said, his wings raising and opening slightly. "These wings are where most of the magic created by my core is stored. A lot of other things are stored there too. You touch one feather, and you'll get your memories back." he said, and he wasn't lying. A demon's wings are not just powerful because of their flight capabilities.
"First off no I'm not touching you and never call me darling again" the fire grew bigger.
"I don't want to force myself on you, but that is what is coming next darling." He said purposely. He had a dangerous gleam in his eyes, like he was keeping back what he could do, but wasn't going to, for fear of hurting her.
"I said not to call me darling." She yelled at him. The fire kept growing she walked away.
James appeared right in front of her suddenly, so that she almost walked into him. "Think you can get rid of me that easy?" He chuckled softly.
She stopped and looked at him. She ran the other way. "Get away from me now." She yelled a bit combustion came out knocking everything off. "Go away."
James appeared in front of her again, arms crossed, a wry smile on his face. "You're going to have to try harder than that darling."
Her eyes glazed over. "I said get away from me." She threw him against the wall freezing him. "There never call me that too"
James's eyes flamed bright orange and he melted right through the ice, walking calmly back up to her again. "You underestimate my power little witch." He said softly, smiling. He was having fun.
"Me underestimating you no." She paused. "You know what kind of ice that is? It's the kind that freezes demons for awhile." She a bigger coat of it on him this time.
He paused for about a second before melting through it again, shrugging. "Guess I'm no ordinary demon, huh? You didn't realize who you married, did you?" He asked, smiling. "So, do you want your memories back, or not?"
"I don't have no memories" she said her powers were getting out of control.
"Exactly. That's my point." he said, nodding, "Do you want them back? Do you want memories?"
"We have to get the councils approval."
"Says who?" He asked, raising one brow, "Do you actually want their approval?"
"Do you want to obey them?" He asked. "Is that what you want?"
"I don't....." They put a new haze over her. "Yes."
He shook his head. "think for a minute, is that what you want? You, Calla, want to obey them?"
"Yes." The haze was stronger than before.
"Are you sure they don't want you to get your memories back?" He decided to make his voice sound like the council and put it into her head. Touch his wing. That is an order.
Her glazed over eyes nodded. She went over to him and touched his wing.
James closed his eyes and tensed as he felt magic leave him. Her memories were flowing from him and into her at an alarming rate, but he wanted her to get all of them, so he closed his hand over hers, and held it there until she had gotten all of her memories back.
She tried backing away. Her eyes glazed over then she passed out.
James stood where he was, breathing deeply. Replacing someone's memories had taken a lot out of him. He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate, but he still swayed slightly.
She laid there limp. The council was still trying to get to her.
James bent down beside her, trying to focus. He gave her some of his energy and smiled weakly. "Wake up Calla." He whispered, swaying.
Calla didn't respond. The council was taking over her.
James frowned. "Wake up baby, I'm giving you all that I have left." he told her softly. He gave her the rest of his energy. It would help her keep in control, as well as wake up. Immediately his core died and he relaxed on the ground beside her. His spirit was taken to hell.
She heard his words. He woke up. "No." She whispered. She started to shake. She started to heat his core with the fire.
James's spirit was already gone. Even if she did get his body going, she would be keeping alive a body without a soul. He wasn't there anymore.
"James" she whispered knowing what happened. "There he's dead." She said looking at the council. "You punished me enough you destroyed all I have left." She said. They laughed and were gone. She kept crying.
James's body was growing cold.Sam opened her eyes, after she had been sleeping beside Danny. "Danny, something is wrong. I can't feel James anymore."
She kept crying. "You promised not to go. You said they couldn't kill you" she whispered.Danny nodded teleporting to them. He saw Calla crying over his body.
Sam nodded. "I hope you're right."
