Jonathan (nathandjoe) | 89 comments For those of you who want an excellent e-reader copy of this book, and one that contains all variants and drafts and all sorts of other lovely things that have been very carefully put together, you can find one for free here: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/show...

Nice! crosspost in the editions thread?

Jonathan (nathandjoe) | 89 comments done - it is a really nice piece of work actually - it has all joyce's first drafts etc and is nice and simple to navigate. He has also done a version of the rest of Jamesy's works too, and has worked very hard to make them the most up to date and "correct" out there (as there are problems with the kindle versions you can buy)

Waywords and Meansigns is an upcoming audio version of James Joyce's famous text, Finnegans Wake, to be read in its entirety. The book will be divided into 17 sections, and there will be a different music/reader/performance group assigned to each section. Featuring established as well as up-and-coming artists, Waywords and Meansigns will offer a version of Joyce's work that is stimulating, accessible, and enjoyable to even the most casual of readers and listeners.

Nathan "N.R." Gaddis (nathannrgaddis) | 414 comments Stuff on the webs! Wakes on the webs!! The Wake awakes on the Wide aWake Web!!!

"Finnegans Wake – the book the web was invented for: James Joyce’s difficult masterpiece has baffled readers for over seven decades, but music, reading-aloud and digital technologies are opening up rich new interpretations" ::
http://www.theguardian.com/books/book...

Now if only the Revised Wake folks would get their hypertext up there.

M'Intosh | 4 comments JoyceGeek (a.k.a. Adam Harvey) is the first person to post comprehensive tutorial videos for all ten thunderwords on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TV3vT...

He's an actor who specializes in chapter-long recitations of 'Finnegans Wake'. His blog is also worth a look:

Interesting lecture on the Wake from McKenna (an ethnobotanist?) Helpful close read of the first segment - names drops Proust, Faulkner, Pynchon, Gaddis, Nabokov, and Friends.

I haven't had the opportunity to explore this at length but I am recommending this based on the strength of the first featured clip which is a stunning rendition of the final passage of Finnegans Wake. There seems be to quite a lot of content here worth exploring.

Pretty useful outline in 3-4 page chunks, I'm trying to find a way to work this into our parts of the wake page.

Harry Collier IV | 119 comments This outline looks familiar. Where is it from?
It has page numbers so I am guessing it was taken from a book.
At any rate, a very useful thing indeed!
