Beverly I am a Bookaholic and know there is no help for me.
But sometimes I have parts of this addiction under control.

But my main weakness is new releases - I have hundreds (I refuse to say thousands :))of unread books on my bookshelf and now on my kindle but I always want to have the new releases that seem to entice me! So watch release dates like a hawk.

What is your main weakness as a bookaholic?

I would say that my main weakness is a book sale. I go to library book sales, used bookstores and participate in book giveaways. I cannot say no to a book that is a good price. These places keep my shelf stocked.

Leslie Nicole | 53 comments I have always had a love for books, I enjoy the escape reading provides. I have now turned into an Kindle/Nookaholic, I get so excited from the instant gratification of downloading books I the wee hours of the night when I should be sleeping, especially when I spend $20 and have 5 or 6 new books added to my collection, I know it's sick but I love reading and I have enjoyed the new reading experiences that I have had since joining this group.

I feel you. I am sitting here this morning trying to decide what to read this week. Trying to figure which books will satisfy my moods this week. :)

Natasha | 21 comments Amazon 1-Click and the eBook instant gratification thing was killing my wallet. Luckily I am currently trying a 30 day trial of Oyster (on my android tablet) and a 30 day trial of Kindle Unlimited. They are kind of like Netflix for books. I can try before I buy. If it's a book I want to read over and over, I can spend the money. So far, I have been able to find a wide selection of things to read.
