J. M. Coetzee (Author) -- appears to be the same author.I don't know why "no space" between the initials is the preferred entry for this Nobel Prize winning author. I should have thought his entry would have received what I still presume to be the "standard" spacing.
The other entry may well be linked to an edition of one of his books in another language. So it appears likely to me, but I'm not 100% certain.
Merged. I don't know what that Vietnamese edition is, so I left it alone on the combine page.No space between initials is GR policy. In fact on Coetzee's author edit page there is a note emphasizing that, with a link to this thread which must at one time had posts in it but they disappeared.
