((No, I'll let it pass. This time. ))Nikolina shrugged, "I don't know. Seems kind of silly" she said.
Twelve looked at her and gasped. "Oh, you're so missing out! Why does it sound silly?"
"Because it's school related, and most things the school does are stupid" Nikolina said. "Like what he said" she said and pointed at Bones for a moment before she let her hand drop back to her side.
Twelve shook her head and moved her gaze to Bones. "Now, what if they were offering a billion dollars as a prize? I heard they have done it before at another school event."
"Well, it'd still be stupid. Only I'd actually participate" Bones said.
(lol that made me laugh for real)Euel smirked. He knew by Bones way of words that school in any shape, form, or color wouldn't make him any happier. "Well, I plan on checking it out tomorrow. They said it would be their best prize yet."
Twelve raised an eyebrow. "Ummm, please tell me how the school can top a billion dollar giveaway."
"Two billion dollar giveaway" Bones said with a smirk.
Twelve sighed but smiled. "And if that was the case, the winner would probably quit school and say he's taking an early retirement."Euel smiled and shook his head. "If only it worked that way. I've known that the big money prizes usually have restrictions on them so no one gets any crazy ideas."
"Yeah, but our school is to lame and poor, to do that type of thing anyway." Bones said. "The awesome prize is probably a free A on any one assignment" he said.
Twelve lightly pokes Bones's forehead. "You, my good sir, really don't know our school that well. You probably haven't seen the new game room they've installed either."
Bones smiled "I can honestly say that I haven't"
Euel nodded at the comment. "They installed it just a few months ago. You should check it out sometime on the 4th floor."Twelve yawned a bit before looking down at her watch. "Well, this all exciting and all, but it's getting a bit late."
Bones sighed, "Ehhhhhh that seems like a lot of work" he said jokingly. Nikolina looked down at her watch to and abruptly stood up. "I uh.... have to go" she said, stumbling on her words a bit. Then she ran out of the restaurant.

Euel stared as Nikolina ran off. Puzzled and allowing the situation to overtake him, he got up from his seat. "Dang, she didn't even say goodbye."Twelve swerved her head as she watched Nikolina pass. She then looked at Bones. "Yeah, I think that's a cue for we need to get going."
Nikolina ran home, she was late and she had things to do.Bones nodded slightly, "Yeah, I suppose it is" he said and stood.
Euel sighed and started walking off. "Well, it was nice hanging out with you two. See you at school tomorrow."Twelve waved. "See ya!" She looked at Bones. "So, guess I'll see you tomorrow too?"
Nikolina got to her house and went inside. She ran straight up to her room and put her stuff away. Then she went back downstairs to check on her sister.Bones smiled, "Yeah" he said and stood up. He pulled out his wallet and grabbed enough money out to pay for their meal.
Twelve smiled. She knew he didn't have to do it but for him to pay for the meal earned him bonus points in her book. She places her hand lightly on his shoulder. "If we ever hang out again, next bill in on me."
Bones shook his head and smile, "Nah, I got it covered then too" he said, and looked over at her. "I'm happy to pay" he said and and put his wallet back in his pocket.
Twelve blushed a bit. "Okay now, don't go broke anytime soon." she gave him a hug and walked off. "See you tomorrow!" (I propose we fast forward to them meeting in the hall before first period class. Does that work for you?)
((Yeah))Bones smiled and hugged her before nodding, "Yeah" he said and walked in the opposite direction.
~Next day~
Nikolina walked into the school and hurried to her locker. When she got there she started grabbing what she needed for her first hour class.
Bones pulled up into the parking lot in his black 67 Chevy Impala. Once he finished parking, in his usual spot he killed the engine and got out. He shut and locked the door behind him before he walked up to the school and went inside. He went start to his locker.
It doesn't take long for Twelve noticed her new friend. Surprised she never noticed Nikolina had a locker so close to her own, but no matter. She was just glad to bump into her so soon. "Hiya, you okay? You ran off pretty fast yesterday."Euel opened his own locker and pulled out several books. A few thoughts ran through his mind at the time. First, what became of Desire ever since yesterday? Second, was Nikolina okay? The latter thought being much more important.
Nikolina nodded slightly "Yeah, I'm fine. It was just past my curfew. My uncle is really strict about that kind of stuff" she said.Bones opened his locker and took out what he needed for his first hour class. Then he turned and looked around the hallway. He saw Euel a little ways down the hallway and walked over to him. "Hey." he said with a small smile. "Did you hear about Desire" he asked.
Twelve raised an eyebrow. "He must either really care or really controlling. But, hey, not my place to judge. What class do you have first?"Euel shook his head. "You heard some news about the demon gal?"
"Both I guess, and I have trigonometry" Nikolina said with a small smile and shut her locker.Bones laughed a bit, "Yeah, apparently, that pea kid followed her home or something. He told her Dad he was her boyfriend. So now everyone in the school some how knows about it and thinks there dating" he said.
"Oh, I have English," Twelve said before scratching the back of her head. "But, I'm pretty sure I've seen Euel heading to Trig in the mornings."Euel laughed. "Rumor spread that fast huh? How did that happen?"
Nikolina smiled at the mention of Euel, "Yeah, I think I've seen him there" she said with a small nod. "Well, I might have heard through the grape vine then told a girl that I knew would be able to have spread to everyone in the school." Bone said with a small smile. "It'll probably die down by tomorrow though, she'd probably kill anyone who made fun of her" he said.
Twelve grabbed a few books out of her locker and then noticed the smile on Nikolina's face. The red head couldn't help but squeal in glee. "Oooo, that's no ordinary smile I see. You're really starting to like him huh?"Euel nodded. "True. Just praying to God we don't have to run into her again. So, where's your first class?"
Nikolina bushed slightly, "Uh... What no" she said and shook her head slightly.Bones nodded slightly "Yeah" he said, also hoping not to run into Desire again. "English It think. Usually skip my first hour class so I don't really remember" he said. "What about you?" he asked.
Twelve's eyes sparkled in delight. "Ah come on! And your blushing too!" She then simmered down and spoke softly. "Listen, your secret's safe with me. I swear.""Trigonometry, ugh," Euel said as he pinched the temple of his nose. "Man, I hate math. But can't complain too much since it's not a hard class."
Nikolina shook her head slightly, and suppressed a smile. "I don't know what you're talking about" she said. "Really, I thought it was suppose to be really hard." Crispin said with a shrug. Then the bell rang, signalling that they needed to get to class. "See ya," he said and walked around him. "Think I'm actually going to go to class this time" he said.
Twelve jumped as she heard the bell ring. She honestly didn't expect it to go off so soon. "Oh, wow. I need to hurry to my class, but we'll talk later!" And with that, she walked to her English class.Euel nodded. "Sounds good. I'll see you around!" He then headed to his Trigonometry class.
Nikolina nodded and hurried off to her Trig class. When she got there she went to her normal seat in the far back corner of the class room. She hated math, especially this math, but she was still really good at it, she's getting an A in the class.Bones walked to English slowly, not caring if he arrived late. Which he did. When he walked in a few minutes later the teacher looked up at him and smile small. "Hoe nice of you to honor us with your presence Mr. Russell" he said.
Bones smiled, "You know I was thinking the same thing." he said as he sat down in his desk. "Anyone who meets me should be honored."
Euel walked into class and noticed a certain brunette he knew. A rise of joy inflated his spirits as he walked past and sat at his seat. Being just several seats to the left of her, he was sure to make some contact during class. Twelve walked into English class and saw Bones just taking his seat. A blush of red flowed in her cheeks noticing him. Strange, she never noticed him in class before and she made it her mission to know all the other classmates. She shrugged. Wouldn't surprise her if he was the ditching type. She then met eye to eye with the teacher and grinned before taking her seat. "Do I get points for being fashionably late?"
Nikolina saw Euel walk into the room and a small red tint appeared on her cheeks, probably because of the conversation she just had with Twelve."Yes of course, detention points." he said.
Bones smiled at Twelve when she walked in and then put his stuff away leaving his journal on his desk.
As the teacher was, well, teaching, Euel turned to Nikolina. Should he pass a note? Do some hand signals? Geez, anything to at least says hi. Finally, he decided to just glance at her every now and then. Maybe, just maybe, they can make eye contact. Twelve pouted and sat at the desk next to Bones. Looking at him, she could tell he was happy to see her. She was a bit excited herself. A sigh released from her lungs as she turned towards him. "Another day, another detention for me. This is a personal record for me."
Nikolina glance over at Euel, and saw he was looking over at her to, or at least in her direction. She cheeks again flared up and she turned away, a smile form on her mouth.Bones smiled over ay Twelve, "I'm sure I'll get one today too. So I'll see ya there"
Euel noticed Nikolina smile. Yes, contact has been made! Now, if only he could send her some kind of message. He looked at the board for a second to see what the teacher was at least talking about, but, soon afterward, wrote the words "meet after class?" on his paper and put it up as soon as he noticed Nikolina looking again.Twelve lifted an eyebrow and waved her hand. "Please, I don't want you to get in trouble for my sake. Besides, I have a favor to ask of you if you're up for it."
Nikolina glanced over at Euel again and saw him holding up a piece of paper that read "Meet after class she smiled and nodded slightly. Bones chuckled, "I would probably get a detention whether or not you were." he said. "And yeah, what is it?" he asked.
Euel wrote another statement "You're looking cute btw" and lifted the paper up with a smile adorning his face.Twelve placed her pointing finger on her lip. "Well, after detention, I have a few errands to do for my mother. I could use an extra hand with it actually."
Nikolina read the second note and her cheek turned red again. She smiled shyly and looked down at her notebook, she quickly wrote, Thanks, you too. then held it up.Bones nodded slightly "Yeah, I could help" he said with a smile. "and after that how about we go and get something to eat." he said.
The bell rang and as everyone exited the classroom, Euel waited near the classroom door as he casually watched the students pass by. He felt that Nikolina wouldn't mind him waiting for her. Twelve smiled. "Hmmm, I rather eat before we start. It's going to be pretty busy and we'll need the energy."
Nikolina gathered her things and left the class room once the bell ran. When she walked out of the class room, she saw Euel waiting for her and smiled. She walked over to him and smiled, "Hey"Bones smiled, "Either way is fine with me" he said.
Euel smiled back as he saw Nikolina. Just as cute as he remembered from yesterday. Maybe even a tad more so. "Hey, doing anything after school?"Twelve extended a hand. "Alright, let's shake on it!"
It was in that brief moment she suddenly forgot class was still in session. Turning around, she prayed that didn't attract too much attention.
Nikolina shook her head slightly "No, why?" she asked, with a smile.Bones chuckled and nodded slightly "Okay" he said and held out his hand, not caring if they had drawn attention or not.
"Well, there was another restaurant I wanted to try out. Needed someone to tag along and see if the place is any good. Only girls named Nikolina can go though." Euel said with a grin. Twelve sighed and laughed a little. "I take it nothing gets under your skin huh?" Noticing his calm demeanor despite a few stares just proved her own suspicions. He really is something else.
Nikolina smiled and her cheeks turned a light pink, "Well, then I guess I'll just have to go with you" she said. "Except for spiders, can't stand them" Bones said with a smile, he said it jokingly.
(I'd like to fast forward to roughly 4pm. After Twelve is done with detention. Does that work for ya or did you want to try something different?)
Euel nodded and laughed. "I can only imagine what the prize would be. A year supply of erasers and pens." He then turned to Nikola. "What do you think about it?"
