I was hoping to get 5 read from the GCAC Awards Nominees and Winners list but I only read 3....so many books to read so little time ;(But, I did complete the task reading the following:
Burial Rites
Great book....difficult content, but the characters will stay with you long after you turn the last page. Highly recommended!
Night Film
Interesting idea for a novel, using various media to convey almost a 'noirish' feel to the book. Long read but again, interesting.
Whistling Past the Graveyard
Not bad, if I can say this, it is almost a light read considering the topic...racial discrimination. Not very deep but gives a look at how racial discrimination might look through a child's eyes.

(copied from another challenge with a similar theme)I'm so bummed because my February reading did not go anywhere near according to plan, thanks to a promotion at work. Yes, the promotion is a good thing but it's been a challenge getting accustomed to the job and my schedule (it's not set hours, it's just all over the place) so I think I read maybe one book in all of February. I had such plans for romance that month! Alas...it was not to be.
I'll be reading all of the books I planned to read for this in the next few months, hopefully. I'll still keep track of my challenge because I want to finish it, lol.

I'm having a problem adding a book that is from Maya Banks and the cover is red and it's called "Wanted" Is it possible to add it to my list even though GR doesn't have it in there list of books? It's an ebook that I bought from B&N but can't find it here. Please help!

? If so, in the add book look-up type in the ISBN #, which is 1460314905.It actually goes by two different titles, that is why it is hard to find.
Using the ISBN # when GRs goes on the blink is a little "work-around" trick we use - a lot! LOL!
I've updated my post and I'm finished with my books. :)
