Hi, The link above is from the "What's the Name of That Book?" group.
I think a lot of us want to know which book it is so we can read it, so I thought to come over here to this group to find out if anyone knows of it.
Please help. Thank you.

Moonlight | 49 comments There is a series by Madelyn Alt that is about a psychic empath who works as a clerk in an antiques shop. Your books sounds very familiar to me like something that was recommended to me before.

If that is not it, you might check out the blog:
http://www.cozy-mystery.com/

The author keeps a list of cozy mysteries by theme that might narrow down your search.

Betty (bettylouise54) | 582 comments This series about an empath that is learning about her abilities. The gift shop she works is own by white witch. All the main characters have sort of psychic abilities;none can touch and change objects. There are 6 books. I rate, the series a 5. The first one isWhere There's a Witch

Justine | 10 comments Thanks Jaye - unfortunately not the one - no one in the book is a witch. I believe that she worked with 2 guys in the shop. An older one with the same power as her (who may have been related to her)and a younger one with no powers. "

Justine | 10 comments A Girl works in an antique shop. When they do house clerances she sorts through items looking for thise with a bad "vibe" which need to be removed from circulation. When she touches the objects they give her visions.

This is possibly a series.

The 1st book featured a button that was in a jar/box of buttons and there was a skull hidden in a secret panel in the house they were clearing/ "

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) It doesn't fit exactly, but what about the Missing Pieces series? The second book in the series comes close: she owns an antique store, she picks up stories from what she touches, and there are two men: her grandfather and her love interest.

It's close, anyway.

Jaye | 53 comments I found this definition that may help with the search:

"Psychometry is a psychic skill that involves the handling of objects in order to pick up information about that objects history or the events or emotions of people connected with that object."

Jaye | 53 comments Ghostly Antiques: A Novel about Psychometry
Ghostly Antiques A Novel about Psychometry by Jennifer Robins

I suggested this one, but haven't heard back yet.
I'll let you know when/if it's solved.

Jennifer (finegael) | 284 comments I just went to the library yesterday and picked up a book by Juliet Blackwell. The heroine runs a vintage shop and (as the back cover says) has the magical ability to sense vibrations of the past from clothing and jewelry. Could that be your author? The book I picked up (am saving in case paranormal comes up as a bingo theme) is A Cast-Off Coven
But there are others in the series.

Thanks for the suggestion, but she said there are no witches in the book.
