Alaena walked into the class in her human form. She was wearing black jeans, a black shirt and lace up combat boots. Grabbing her daggers, she started to think about what to practice first.
Alaena heard the impact of someone practicing archery, and decided to do the same. She left and returned with a sturdy bow with delicate designs trailing it's length. Walking over near the guy, she started to set up.
James for the presence of somebody close by he shot a quick glance to his side noticing that was it girl. He return to shooting the targets.
Stringing an arrow, she arranged her feet. Taking in a deep breathe, she suddenly drew and fired quickly, and did so over and over again, repeatedly reaching into the sheath on her back to reload.
When she had run out of arrows, she turned and smiled at him. "Hey. How's it?" Alaena asked warmly.
Alaena retrieved her arrows and smiled. "Nice bow. Where'd you get it?"
" I made it from very rare would found in hell. Vegetation doesn't grow in hell so that's how rare it it" he said but not pridefully
"Neat." She smiled at him. "I'm Alaena, and I'm a faerie, not that you can tell that at the moment. Nice to meet you."
She laughed. "Well, lets see your best shot with that bow, James."
"Nice! Your chosen weapon I'm guessing?" She asked approvingly.
"So am I." She bent down and grabbed two silver daggers from sheathes hidden in her boots. "Well, for close range fighting anyway." Alaena threw them and they landed in the hearts of two dummies.
"Same to you. You handle that weapon pretty well." She indicated his bow. "Where'd you learn?" Alaena leaned against the wall facing him.
"Really? That sounds interesting. Where I come from we don't have many wars." She shrugged. "Life's pretty boring there."
"It's the faerie realm." She said simply. "Pretty boring really. Not like here. I love it here."
She smiled. "Where do you come from?"
"Why? You seem so nice." She asked confused. Alaena retrieved her daggers while she waited for him to answer
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry." She said in a worried voice.
She gave him small smile. "In the faerie realm people don't care about privacy. That's one of the reasons why I came here."
"Well, the whole place was extremely friendly. No one ever seemed mean. And we had to tell the truth if answered a question, because we can't lie and it's rude not to answer, so people can be rather nosy." She said thoughtfully, screwing her nose up comically.
She sighed. "Yeah. And it is as bad as it sounds. Ask me a question, I'll show you."
She laughed, blushing. "What happened to not getting on the wrong side of me?" Alaena sighed, and picked up her bow, arming it. "Here, I'm not sure, I only have clothes from home. And at home, you wouldn't understand the size anyway." She let it the arrow fly laughing. "See? Truth."
Alaena let out a magical laugh. "It's OK. Frankly I have been asked worse."
"Hmm," she said grinning, turning to look at him. "See in this realm it isn't so rude to not answer a question. Which is what I am so going to do. Besides, it hardly seems fair for me to do all the answering."
"Well, I hardly think asking what your bra size would be very fitting, no pun intended." She said, tapping her chin, then smiling. "OK, what do you think of my human form?"
She smiled shyly and blushed. "Thanks. Your not to bad yourself." Alaena admitted back.
"Do you want to see my true form?" She asked surprised and smiled eagerly. "No one has ever asked me to do that before. Do you really want to see?"
