Like my grandfather has stage 4 cancer and idk what happened but either it's spreading through his body a lot quicker than expected but idk it's really scary so I'm spending a month with him in California for extra bonding time

I feel like the older people get the more stubborn they get and at a certain point you just can't change their minds about these kinds of things??? for example, my next door neighbor died about 2 years ago cause she slipped and fell in her kitchen and no one found her for three days and she was actually crazy like she thought that people were looking into her windows so she put tinfoil over all of her windows and she thought that things were coming out of her toilet so she stuffed towels down into them and basically barricaded herself in her own house and her kids stopped by like once every two weeks to give her food and take her to appointments but one time when my mom was running she looked into one of the windows (it was when we first moved in) just to get a glimpse of what was inside and the old lady was watering whatever green areas she had left in her lawn and sprayed my mom with the hose she was a mean little old lady but her body was riddled with cancer and she was obviously delusional towards the end but even now I can't feel bad for her
