Drexel smiled, ducking his head to quickly kiss her cheek before she pulled away. "Well, I like you as well, if that didn't qualify as telling you."

"Wolves are beautiful," Charlotte murmured dreamily. "Um... chemistry, even though I think I want to be a forensic anthropologist. Or professional musician." She shrugged. "I guess it'd be crazy to say both. And you?"

"Good idea," Drexel replied, following her to the table that Cristal had picked out and sitting down awkwardly with the two of them.
~~~~~
"Just listening to music? Do you appear in the music room randomly, then?" Charlie teased with a chuckle.
"I've never met one of those before," Drexel replied, smiling to Gemma. "But then again, I've never had the acquaintance of a wereleopard."
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Well, thanks," Charlotte replied, blushing at her assumption, and asked, "What kind of music do you like?"

"Well, thanks," Charlotte replied, blushing at her assumption, and asked, "What kind of music do you like?"
"I must be pretty lucky," Drezxel said, arching his eyebrows. "Now, I don't know anything about you other than what you are, your name and your favorite color. Care to elaborate?"
~~~~~~
"Classical, rock, indie hipster." Charlie smiled and shrugged. "Indie punk. I guess it depends."
"Good, liking more than one thing is likable in itself," Drexel said, droning on a little bit with a chuckle.
~~~~~~
"I like art, also. I used to draw a lot but I haven't lately. And I pretty much gave up writing when I was young," Charlotte said, shrugging. "You?"

((Sorry.))
Drexel shrugged nonchalantly. "I like music, I guess. And basketball, but I don't play, really. I can swim good?" he offered, pursing his lips.
~~~~~~~
"That's good, I like video games also," Charlotte-Maria said with a smile. "What kind of games do you like?" She pushed her hair out of her face, glancing up at him from beneath her eyelashes.
Drexel chuckled. "Thank you, I guess. Do you like any sports?" he asked, not commenting on her quiet demeanor. He shuffled the hair on his head quickly, shrugging a shoulder with his question.
~~~~~~
"Do you like Bioshock? Or The Last of Us?" Charlotte questioned, a small smile peeking from her lips, flashing her white teeth for a moment.

"Other than for coffee later?" Drexel smirked. "I would like that. Maybe we can race in the woods, see which one is faster," he suggested.
~~~~~~~
"We should. They're only one player but I don't mind watching," Charlotte-Maria said, nodding. "But you don't have to if you're not interested. Y'know, stupid games."
"Oh, you bet," Drezel retorted, rolling his eyes dramatically. "But that's good to know, I'll file it into the abyss of my brain." He tapped his fingers on the table, chuckling.
~~~~~~~~~~~
"Sounds good to me," Charlie replied, smiling back. "Sounds like it involved stealing cars?"

"Heh, I don't know about that, Gemma," Drexel teased. "I am fast and have a pretty bad memory. Do you know of a big forest around here?"
---
"Sounds tempting. Can you hang out later today?" Charlotte-Maria asked, smiling at Daniel. "I am. But I'm not very busy any other day. Except Friday. I have lessons then."

"Sure you will be," Drexel murmured back, arching an eyebrow. "But I guess we can put our vouches to the test, now can we?" He smirked, jutting his chin out for a moment.
~~~~~~~
"Good," Charlie said, but was drowned out by the bell ringing. "I have to get going to class." She stood up, accurately throwing her apple core into a waste basket a ways away. "See ya after school," she said, waving over her shoulder.
"Of course after coffee, because we can't skip that," Drexel said seriously, adding a nod for good measure. "Do you guys have any hometown kind of coffee shops? Or are we sticking with Starbucks?"
~~~~~~~
After the rest of school, Charlie sat on an empty stone bench at the front, other kids filing out past her. She had one elbow resting on it's assigned knee, her head in her palm and she drummed scales on her other knee with her fingertips, waiting for Daniel.

"Great, Starbuck it is," Drexel replied, arching an eyebrow. "You have a nice smile," he commented right before the bell rang, drowning out the end of his sentence.
~~~~~~~~
Charlotte-Maria picked up her head, smiling up at him. "Hey there," she said, hopping off of the stone. "What's up?"
"I said you have a nice smile,".Drexel.repeated with a chuckle, standing up from.the table and offering her his hand. "Apparently the bell agrees with me."
---
"Nothing really." Charlie smiled with a shrug. "Just waiting for you out here. My house or yours?" She asked, glancing around.
Drexel blushed before laughing. "I didn't mean that part as to be a contest," he said, still chuckling before clearing his throat. "Can I walk you to your next class?"
~~~~~~
((What if an older brother or father of his comes home and realizes she's a pure Elf?))
"Well, being loud isn't always a bad thing," Charlotte-Maria stated with a serious nod. "It's good to have your voice heard in certain situations, I guess." She gave him a reassuring smile. "Sounds good to me."

(('Kay. xP))
"I don't mind walking. In fact, I love walking. It's better than being dragged," Charlie said, giggling as she followed before catching up and walking alongside him.
~~~~~~
"Good, beautiful smile," Drexel teased back, offering her his arm and leading her out. "Of course, I have no idea what your next class is. Or where it might be."
"All of these are to contemplate. I don't know you well enough to see what fits you perfectly," Drexel replied, chuckling. "Where's AP English?"
~~~~~~
"Wow. I like the outside of your house," Charlotte-Maria said, looking up before turning to smile at him. "How many siblings do you have?"
~~~~~~
"Oh, I'm sure you would love to embarrass me. Except, it wouldn't embarrass me." Drexel chuckled, following Gemma towards her class. "Because I would love whatever nickname you could think of."
~~~~~~
"So you are the oldest?" Charlotte-Maria questioned, glancing around the house before turning her attention to him, following him inside. "Must be a lot of responsibility."

"Even if it embarrassed me," Drexel confirmed, nodding her head. His sandy-colored hair bounced, and he shrugged. "I would probably like it anyway."
~~~~~
"I promise not to tell anyone that," Charlotte-Maria said, turning to face him. "Unless, of course, you tell me to tell them. Your secret of thinking your siblings are cute is safe with me."
"And you're horrible at pouting," Drexel said back, laughing. "I'm fun to tease, it's just hard to figure out what would work," he explained with a shrug.
~~~~
"We can go to your bedroom, unless you have rules about that," Charlie replied, shrugging. "I don't want to be a bother to you."

"I guess I shouldn't follow you in there," Dre joked before saluting her. "Aye, Miss Gemma! See ya later." He stooped to open the door to let her in and waited until she was safely inside before heading to his next class.
~~~~~
"Whatever you want to," Charlotte-Maria told him, following him up the stairwell. "But I don't carry my games on me on a regular basis, so I don't have Bioshock or The Last of Us."
Drexel walked to his class just as the warning bell rang, scooting to the back as he had earlier. He wrote down notes, and searched through his textbook, but kept getting distracted.
~~~~~~~~
Charlie raised her eyebrows in mock shock. Biting her lip, she seemed to ponder before saying to him, "You can pick, I'm good with anything."

After the class was over, Drexel moved on to his other classes until the school day was done, not exactly sure where to wait for Gemma. Then, he remembered where her locker was and headed towards it.
~~~~
"Sounds good to me," Charlotte-Maria replied, sitting down next to him on the floor, though not too close. She didn't want to seem pushy to him. She smiled, leaning back on the side of the bed.
Drexel looked around the hallway, being able to see over most of the heads because of his height. He grinned, seeing Gemma and walking over to her. "Hey there."
-----
"Okay..."Charlotte murmured, mulling over her choices before choosing a character. "Got it. Now what?"
"Hey, I might even surprise you by winning," Drexel replied, smirking, the skin next to his ear warm from her breath. "Of course I'm ready, but are you?"
-----
"What?" Charlie laughed. "No! She's a helpless old lady who, for some reason, has a Mary Poppins purse," she said as she used her character to yank the shovel out of the woman's hand, throwing it off to the side.
Charlotte-Maria chuckled, moving her character into the car. "I'd rather kill a drow- I mean. A drug lord," she corrected, frowning for a moment as she set her chin on her knee, pursing her lips.
~~~~~~
"Always ready? Is that a good thing?" Drexel teased, gesturing towards the hallway that led to the school's entrance. "Can I help you carry your stuff?"

"Either a horse or a dog. Like a big dog. Probably a Pyrenees," Charlotte answered. "What about you?"
