2014 is here, and it's time to set your reading goal! Due to this challenge's whopping success last year, the moderators have decided to bring it back for 2014. How many books are you going to challenge yourself to read? Create your own discussion topic in this thread and tell us what your goal is. Then, throughout the year, track your progress.

How to create your discussion topic for your challenge:
- Choose the number of books that you plan to read. Once you have done so, go to the Member Reading Lists folder. If you are not familiar with this folder, read the first thread, entitled "What is a Reading List?"
- If you do not have a Reading List posted there, please create a new thread. Members that already have a Reading List can proceed to the next step.
- Create a new post for the 2014 Reading Challenge. Be sure to include how many books you plan to read throughout the year. Also remember to include any books that you have already read in 2014.
-Throughout the year, you can add additional posts to your thread, updating your progress as you read.

And you're all set! Post here if you have any questions.

And lastly, we would like to congratulate the following member who was the only person to reach her 2013 reading goals:
Alyssa (65 Books)

Laurel | 6 comments Wow, this sounds like a great group! I just joined today, but I think I'd like to make a reading goal. I'll start out slow and say 35 books. If I start out with something manageable then I can expand on it later, right?

I just finished King Lear for school, and I'm also reading Jane Eyre, and The Asylum by Simon Doonan. So, one down, and 34 more to go!

You're off to a great start! And yes, you can expand your goal at any point throughout the year.
