The Phantom and Bree
Wolf leapt backwards, to rejoin Tobias.
River stole a hood, and covered her face and hair with it. She leave behind Red and passed the guards without being noticed.
Wolf and Tobias focussed on avoiding the attacks of the horse and man.
Finally River made it to the closest of the arena. She spotted easily Tobias and Wolf. River then went to find the other entrance.
Wolf growled at the horse, which reared up.
River found the other fighters and set them free. "Run! Quick! Go to the forest or anywhere far away from here!" she ordered and then went back to the arena.
Tobias was cornered, and held his arms up in a weak block.
"This is quite unfair..." she said and to the surprise of the audience, she jumped into the arena. She turned to see Tobias and asked "Want some help?"
Tobias was being destroyed, to put it lightly. Wolf was ineffectively trying to draw his attacker away.
"I won't help you until you ask for it. You only have to say my name if that's okay with you." she said teasingly and with crossed arms.
His pride overcome by survivalism, he cried out for her aid.
River sighed and shook her head. "Well, for now that's okay." She ran to his side and slashed the man with her dagger. The man retroced and she looked at Tobias, offering her hand "Can we go now?"
He took her hand, somewhat begrudgingly, and allowed himself to be pulled up.

((Sorry))River didn't let go of him and started running towards the exit. She called the other "You too! You should run too!"
He was forced to run with her, or be left behind. He chose the former.
River found the horse and Red on top of it. She jumped and drag Tobias with her. "You will probably like to hold on me." she said smiling teasingly and with yellow eyes sparkling.
He did so, too far exerted to do much more than stay conscious.
It didn't take long for them to be already at the forest. River smiled and laughed. She felt alive and happy.
Whereas Tobias felt terrible, having recently sustained a heavy beating.
She stopped when she believed they were safe. She climbed down and helped Tobias. She laid him on a tree and was the first time her look seemed worried. "Red, find a way to bring water."
As soon as he was set down, Tobias neared unconsciousness.
"Please, please, don't go." She said softly trying to keep him awake. Red suddenly came back with something better. Lotions. "Where did you ...?" she shook her head "Doesn't matter." She put the lotion to soothe the pain of the wounds.
Tobias slipped away, the lotions removing the invasive stimulus of pain, and River's soft voice surprisingly calming.(My character is asleep. Why aren't I?)
((Sorry, I thought I had replied))River started singing a lullaby. She couldn't do anything about him falling unconscious but at least she could recomfort him meanwhile. She kept taking care of her wounds.
He calmed considerably at her song, and he would likely have fallen into sleep were he not, by now, unconscious.
Red sat by her side and listened. River herself feel the need to sleep. She ended up curling herself next to Tobias, while Red keep an eye on the surroundings.
Tobias unconsciously moved to lean on River, lying next to her.
A few hours later, River still hadn't wake up from her sleep. Red was tired but he would do anything just to protect his partner.
Wolf moved to Tobias, and slept on his feet, warming them.
River heard something and woke up, eyes wide open scanning everything around her.
Then she turned around and saw Tobias so close to him she back away quickly. River stand upon and shake herself. She was surprised and her face was almost as red as her hair.
With his support gone, Tobias rolled onto his back, towards where she had been. Wolf readjusted to better make him comfortable.
River rolled her eyes, all worry gone now. "Come on, you have sleep enough. We have to move on."
Wolf understood this, and gently nuzzled Tobias' face, to wake him.
She brushed her hair off her face and pet Red.
Tobias slowly woke. He decided that the early starts were, thus far, the worst part of this quest.
"Finally you're awake!" she said smiling and gave him a kiss in the cheek. "I'm glad I didn't lose my teasing buddy."
He blushed at the kiss, and awkwardly looked away.
River smiled again and took his hand, pulling him up. "Let's continue with our journey."
He could not meet her eye, but allowed himself to be raised from the dirt where he lay.
"Does anything hurts you? I still have some lotion tfor your wounds." she offered him.
He shook his head, silently. Wolf came over to him, and was stroked.
She nodded and a dazzling smile drew over her face. "Let me know if you're in pain." Red stopped paying attention to her and more to the forest.
He nodded again, and buried his face in Wolf's soft fur.
Red walked next to River and she turned her head some times to check on Tobias. She started humming the lullaby she had sang to the young wolf.
River was almost there. The only problem was the guards. She could or kill them or pass herself as one of the expectators... The second choice seemed easier, but then she wouldn't be able to take Red with her.
