Jenni | 39 comments Hi I'll start this one

I write in the garden under an apple tree in the summer and in a green leather armchair in front of a wood fire in the winter.
Sometimes I have to contend with a crazy Dog chasing birds or a 18 year old playing a didgeridoo!!

Rebecca Forster (rebeccaforster) | 59 comments I write in a coffee shop. I've been coming here 14 years. When I die I will leave money to put a plaque on the table I use on a daily basis. I tend to get in a snit if someone gets to that table before I do. :)

What do you do if there is someone at your table?

Liz Bell | 3 comments The New York Public Library. At home I'm too distracted and I'll start cleaning and watch TV. If I'm at a place that DEMANDS quiet, I'll do it lol.

Hah! I give them a dirty look and they move. Actually, you'd be surprised. I was in the hospital quite a bit in 2012. After one surgery I got a message on my cell phone and in quite a bit of pain rolled over to find one of the people at the coffee shop had taken a picture of a man and put the message "Where are you? Someone's at your table". I will never forget it. Made me feel so much better.

Good idea. I'm trying to write when there is some background noise and distraction to extend my writing hours.
