1. Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel 2/5stars. She tried to include too many characters! The characters felt disjointed and unapproachable. I appreciate her effort but felt like the amount of details distracted readers from the emotional aspects.

2. Mrs. Poe by Lynn Cullen. Historical Fiction. 4/5 stars. She really develops the characters to a point where you feel them. I loved her descriptions of the places. I would definitely read this author again.
3. Into the Free by Julie Cantrell. 5/5. I laughed and cried. The character development was good for both major and minor characters. The descriptions of the locations were amazing. This book is like a coming of age story like Little Women crossed with The Outsiders. I am going to try to read her next book also.
