Mo I see from Bookbub that one of hers is supposed to be $1.99 - Cry No More by Linda Howard - it might be for U.S. citizens but it is showing up $5.50 for me... check it out... another great one.

Oh remember you recommending this one Mo.
Linda Howard is a great author, i'm happy to still have a lot of books to go through.

Gaby Thanks Mo!

@Gabriella
I completely agree. This is one of those books that just sucks you in and holds on tight. Why have I never heard her? I hardly ever love a heroine. I may be the biggest heroine hater ever, but I love Faith. I'm going to be fangurling this author.

message 31: by Gaby (new) - rated it 5 stars

Gaby I read a lot of her books. I have them on paperback. Some of them are really good. Dying to Please is also very good, and of course To die for.

If you like her you will also like Sandra brown. White hot, Where there's Smoke and Best Kept Secrets are awesome.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks Mo, I grabbed it.

@Gabriela
Awesome. I am all over those.

Mo Sandra Brown Slow Heat in Heaven by Sandra Brown - Main character, Cash Boudreaux, reminded me a bit of Gray. Totally politically incorrect from what I remember. Think I even ordered the paperback cos it was not available on kindle.

Mo I read a book called Peyton Place by Grace Metalious OMG, nearly 30 years ago or more.... but it is not the same author. Must check it out.

No, it's a different book, but the female character since she was little, wanted to be an author just like the one who wrote the original book. She lives in Peyton Place, were the original book was based on and has imaginary talks with her.

I know this might be a stupid question but what are they talking about when they say parish? I'm Catholic and I know what a parish is in that reference but I'm confused here?

Gaby Ashlee wrote: "I know this might be a stupid question but what are they talking about when they say parish? I'm Catholic and I know what a parish is in that reference but I'm confused here?"

They are talking about the town, there is probably only one church so the congregation is the town itself.

Silvana 45% in and loving it, can't believe I haven't come across her books before!

@Ashlee, OMG was thinking the same thing about Faith! I was wondering that most authors these days need to look at how Faith is written!!
