do you remember the publisher? it they were recent probably something like Bethany House or Zondervan - maybe start on their websites

Amber, were the books all by the same author, or did each one have a different author?Do you remember anything about any of the plots or settings?
Were the women real or fictional? I know Janette Oke wrote a series of books about women, (none of the books were connected t each other) and they were historical fiction.

Not the same author (I believe)It was modern fiction. I read these in early 2000's
The plots veried, sometimes about a women running from an abusive spouse or just has alot of 'baggage'. There was always romantic entanglements but all innocent.
The plots, covers, and titles were similar. When I was in school all the books were put together in the library.
Maybe the Glenbrooke series by Robin Jones Gunn? Here is the first in the series: Secrets - each book is about a different modern woman and all the books are independent. But they are also slightly connected. Like the MC of the 2nd book was a friend of the girl in the first & then in another book the MC meets the brother of one of the previous MC's, etc.

I know you said modern day but Lauraine Snelling has a series featuring the names of the MCs. One is called Dakota Treasures and their names are after jewels. (Amethyst)Or The Red Gloves Collection by Karen Kingsbury - they are a series of 4 novellas: Gideon's Gift, Maggies Miracle, Sarah's Song, Hannah's Hope.
Was visiting BAM yesterday & I saw a series & instantly thought of this thread. Women of Ivy Manor series by Lyn Cote.

 - could these be it?

@ladysaotomeThat's probably the closest to the books I'm trying to find but still not it.
Thank you though.

      Perfecting Kate
Splitting Harriet
Faking Grace
?
are all modern Christian chick lit by the same author, the publisher is Multnomah books, titles feature the women's names.
Stealing Adda by the same author, looks like a different publisher.

Do you remember roughly how many books there may have been in the "series"? Were they definitely adult books or could they have been YA?
Just in case: Brides of Montclair series
Could it have been something like the Love Inspired set? Here is a listing of all (or most) of them to date. Or Heartsong Presents - many of them were named after characters.
I went to a Christian private school for 6th grade where I had discovered these books but none of them had a teenager as the main character that I remember. I believe the ages in the books were all in the early 20s.It's not any of those listed either
You might also try asking this question in the GR group "Christian Fiction Devourers". Some of those ladies have read just about everything. :)

Im looking for a series of books that told the stories of different modern women. The stories themselves were not connected but for the same publisher and overall christian theme.
The titles were all the name of the heroine featured in the book, however not necessarily biblical names.
Thanks
