				 How do you feel about Liesel so far? - I think she is truly upset with her real mother leaving her, but loves her foster father.

Why do you think Liesel took the Grave Digger's Handbook? - Because she felt a connection to it.
Would you have done the same? - Yes.
What are your first opinions of Hans and Rosa Hubermann? - Rosa would annoy me very quickly, and Hans was very nice.
How do you feel about the inclusion of German phrases? - It teaches you German and it gives you a feeling of it being real.
Do they make it more confusing to read or do they help set the scene? - It helps the set the scene.
What is your first impression of Rudy Steiner? - He was a little trouble maker.
What do you think is the impact of viewing these historical events from a child's perspective? - It shows that the children's point of view mattered just as mach as the adults.
Do you think children are more direct/honest or more likely to warp things with imagination? - It really depends on the child and how the child was raised.
Can you relate to Liesel's frustration at school? - I can understand her frustration, but relate I don;t think I could.
