MiMi's poem
A Ridiculous Pointless Poem
There are many types of people in the world
Some will make you want to hurl
Some will make you want to cry
And make your tear ducts run bone dry
But in the end you still have friends
That you love and care for till the end

Hannah's poem
Memory
I walk alone
Through my useless life.
I don't want home
I want a knife.
I try to remember
That cold Night.
In the middle of December
Filled with fright.
My mom began to yell
My dad took off.
I had to sell
My life in scoff.
The memory shifts
In the pale moonlight.
My heart never lifts
Even in the morning light.
It begins to rain
With clouds above.
I remember the pain
Of the ones I love.
The memory of life
Comes to an end.
As if I strife
Away from a friend.
The pain never lightens
The clouds stay.
As the Dawn lightens
My life fades away.
The memories never seem to fade,
For they never will.
Depression never truely fades away.
Death shall overcome life.
Life falls under death's sickening spell.
My life is falling faster than others'.
For depression never truely leaves.
It waits arround every corner.

Roman (Kayla) Poem
life to the fullest
Sitting on the sidewalk,
Dancing in the rain,
Basking in the sunlight,
Never knowing pain,
Leaning into kisses,
Wrapped up in hugs,
So this is what it feels like to be in love,
Shaking off the heart ache,
This hole inside of me,
exploding on the inside,
never being free,
fading into darkness,
waiting for my moon to illuminate me,
life to the fullest
Sitting on the sidewalk,
Dancing in the rain,
Basking in the sunlight,
Never knowing pain,
Leaning into kisses,
Wrapped up in hugs,
So this is what it feels like to be in love,
Shaking off the heart ache,
This hole inside of me,
exploding on the inside,
never being free,
fading into darkness,
waiting for my moon to illuminate me,
Lizzy's Poem
Revolution: Bass and Miles Forever, They Say
Bass and Miles forever
They say
They were brothers
Though not related
They fought side by side in the war
They fought together
They watched one another's back
They were inseparable
They fought like hell
And always won
They took care of one another
They forgave one another
No matter how bad the other screwed up
They saved one another time and time again
But then
After the blackout
Things changed between them
Miles tried to kill Bass one night
But he couldn't pull the trigger
So Miles left the Militia he had created
Including his best friend
And ten years later in Chicago
He was faced with a decision when his niece
Charlie Matheson
Came to him for help to get her brother
Danny
Back from the Militia
His decision was whether to stay at the bar and drink himself to death
Or go help his niece
Which most likely would get himself exposed to the Militia
He chose to go with his niece and her friends to find and rescue Danny
And thus
Started the never ending journey
Including him finding Nora
His friend from back when he was the General of the Militia
And rescuing Rachel
Danny and Charlie's mother
And Miles' fling back when they were kids
Before Ben
Miles' brother
And Rachel
Got married and had Charlie and Danny
But it never really went anywhere
And he realized some time after rescuing her
That he still loved her
But he also loved Nora
So that's the story
Bass and Miles forever
They say
Once upon a time
Brothers
Best friends forever
And family
Now
Still friends
But Miles thinking he has to kill him
And Bass not wanting to kill Miles
They're fighting against one another
But Miles is willing to walk away from it all
To help his blood related family
And his friends and love life
But they want to stop fighting one another
Because they know
They have worse problems
Bass' men are shooting at him
Jason is back at Tom
His father's side
Nora is dead due to Grace's friends
And Grace's friends and the Militia are after Miles and his family and friends
So now
It's survival to the fittest
So
It's Bass and Miles Forever
They say.

Anika's Poem
Story Whisperers
story whisperers
are little creatures that live inside your brain
they come out at night &
exactly as their name says,
whisper stories into your ear
some stand right on your chest & animate the words,
& the rest watch to you to see what they should whisper about next
there is nothing particularly beautiful about them except their work
to spend a life doing nothing but making humans think
to give humans, in a way, a purpose to their life
& to tell them that they are not alone in the confines
of not knowing, and at the same time having been blessed & cursed by curiosity
people have always said that they never understood & that is because
they were not supposed to know/think/believe
& so the whisperers stand unrecognized
in the confines of the night, in the smallest, most insignificant places
doing nothing more than giving people hope

Mean Names
I thought we were friends I guess not at all.
You set me up for failure and you never seemed to call.
You changed over the summer, wearing makeup and such.
I thought we were friends but it was just a hunch.
You called me mean names, you tried to bring me down.
But I refused to do it,
I refused to frown.
I tried to be nice, I used to wave at school.
But you just ignored me.
I guess I wasn't "cool".
And now you have a "boyfriend", even though your twelve years old.
You called me mean names, now that's just cold.
I don't understand what your trying to do.
Don't you know I have feelings too?
I don't get it, I don't understand.
And you will never know where I stand.
You don't get my pain.
You think I'm insane.
I used to cry myself to sleep.
Sometimes, I laid in bed, and couldn't to go to sleep.
You said "best friends til' the end!"
Well, that was a lie.
Because in the end we just said goodbye.
You called me mean names.
You try to put me to shame.
But you won't break me.
Can't you see?
It was true, you were just using me.
I guess I was the only one that couldn't see.
You called me mean names.
And now I see can your little game.
But, I have new friends now.
And they understand me too.
I'm happy now!
I'm as free as a bird, no stress at all.
And guess what, my new friends always call.
You didn't break me even though you tried so hard too.
You called me mean names, but I never did

Xwearethefallenangelsx's poem
I won't try to stop my heart from beating
Every beat that comes and goes is fleeting
It won't be long till I am dead and I can't breath
My Body rests where heaven and hell meet
I won't try to stop my heart from beating
Every beat that comes and goes is fleeting
It won't be long till I am dead and I can't breath
My Body rests where heaven and hell meet
Pikachu Lover's poem
Like a Bullet from a Gun
The words shoot out of their lips like a bullet from a gun
Aimed at me
Targeting me
Something I can never outrun.
The bullet hits me
Right in the heart
Destroying my confidence
Tearing it apart.
I know I can't take this much longer
I'll be falling to pieces
And I'll be weaker, definitely not stronger.
They don't understand
How it hurts
The pain
How I try not to cry
And all of the happiness I feign.
As if everything is okay
Like the words didn't hurt
Like I'm
"Having a good day"
The laughter
The teasing
The snickers
The bleeding.
The bleeding I cause
With the blade of my scissor
Why do I do this?
I guess the words were a trigger.
I wish they would stop
Just LEAVE ME ALONE
Go back to ignoring me
But I'm their victim, who would have known?
Their words linger in the back of my mind
Everywhere I go
They stay there, never behind.
The words always haunt me, I can't shake them off
They always laugh at me, mock me, acting as a little scoff.
The words shooting out of their lips like a bullet from a gun
Aimed at me
Targeting me
Something I can never outrun.
The bullet hits me
Right in the heart.
Smashing it into pieces
Nothing remains
But my blood
My sadness
And my pain.
As I die in the darkness
My life down the drain.

Rain
The sky is marred by storm clouds
The sun concealed
The droplets hit the ground so loud
The water a florescent teal
I hear a thundering boom from the sky
The dark storm brings out the pain of my heart
The bright light reflects off my eyes
The clouds mix into an indistinct image of art
The somber day
Brings out the tortured depths of my soul
But soon light shines through with dainty rays
And the sky is no longer a dark coal
