Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments i use lush products at the gym cause they are so handy. unfortunately the hard shampoo for dandruff doesnt work (and on top of that absolutely bloody stinks) although i do agree their skin products do wonders for my problem skin

Aunty Janet (janetauty) | 296 comments Cosmetics to Go used to do a 'black tang' shampoo which was excellent. The owner started Lush after CTG went bust.
I find the TGel range useless except their 'theraputic' one.

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments the only thing that has helped so far was the steroid cream but i live in hope that the shampoo im using kicks in soon

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Someone was recommending Lush products for skin to me the other day. My skin is horrendous since getting pregnant.

message 55: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments I really like their face cleansers and moisturisers as well as there general shampoos and soaps for the body

message 56: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Would they be better than simple stuff?

Although I think (fingers crossed) that my skin is finally starting to clear up, it just took 6 flaming months! 3 more months should be enough time to reduce the blemishes left behind and by then by hormones will go nuts again and I'll probably be right back where I started.

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments I have never used the simple stuff fuse they break me out in seconds so im cant really compare. Coal face is fantastic for blemishes thigh and fresh pharmacy is great for redness and general cleansing.

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Simple was the only product I found that didn't make me break out in more spots. I'll drop by lush next time I'm in town and have a look :o)

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments They give out free samples so you could always ask for some :)

message 60: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Oh cool! Thanks very much Elle

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 2992 comments I reckon that with the combination of growing up near the coast and now being chock full of pregnant hormones, Jud's skin is lovely and soft.

message 62: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I didn't grow up near the coast though. I live there now and pregnancy hormones might be making my skin soft but it's not very lovely. It's like I'm going through puberty again, except at least when I went through puberty I was able to use creams and go on the pill to sort it.

Stupid hormones

Anyone else find that slightly creepy?

Mind you, I had a colleague stroking my goosebumps today.

Also creepy.

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 2992 comments It would have been more creepy if I had included the bit about wanting to stroke Jud's arms.

Why was your colleague stroking your goosebumps?

message 65: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments It would be creepy if he turned up on my doorstep. So long as he stays where he is he can comment on my skin all he wants.

Oh who is that waving from the other side of the car park?

message 66: by Michael (new)

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 2992 comments You'll have to let me in, I don't have a security pass.

message 67: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Uh... of course... I'll be right there...

message 68: by Katy (new)

Katy | 2662 comments I swear by 'Simple' stuff!

Also, 'Lush' is, well, lush! Their 'dream cream' is absolutely amazing! I've been rubbing it into my scalp, leaving it for 5 minutes and rinsing. Find it's working well!

Hope you feel better soon, Elle

message 69: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments Have they discontinued the scalp stuff you were talking about from Boots, Katy?

I recently went in to find it and they didn't have it and its gone from online too.

message 70: by Katy (new)

Katy | 2662 comments I really hope not, Elle! But I can't seem to find it online either.

That's a real shame as I'm almost out too ): it's the only thing that I've found that works
