Would a superlibrarian please be so kind as to merge the two records for “The Folio Book of Humorous Anecdotes” into one, and correct the 'authorship': the Introduction is by Edward Leeson, and Drawings are by Nick Hardcastle. Remove “Author: Various”.
Hardback 272 pages. This book was first published in 2005. Contributors are acknowledged over the last eight pages of the book (i.e. too many to name separately on Goodreads).
with thanks

Then "Various" is exactly right for the author.
Editions merged and cleaned up.

I went cross-eyed over the Librarians' Manual, trying to see if "Various' (authors) was approved usage; & couldn't find it. Can that be added to the next revision?
May I also suggest that the Librarians' Manual also be given a Revision Number, to draw our attention to changes for implementation?
cheers

For when we use Various, you might try looking at the author profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
The Manual is not revised in its entirety at any one time. Adding to it is an ongoing process. Most changes are minor. The rare major changes (like when we started to allow book data from Amazon) are also announced in this group.
