Andrew (caileus) | 53 comments Title: Sublimatas: Book 1 of the Xaosis Trilogy
Author: Sheila Undi
ISBN (or ASIN): 9780992146702
Publisher: Xaosis Publications
Publication date: 2013
Format: Hardback, 240pp
Description:
Sublimatas, begins as the stepping stone of a belligerently dark, neo-Satanic trilogy. The first book formulates an all-encompassing TOE (theory of everything) which comprises the most in-depth, detailed and never-before-seen Satanic paradigm; the latter is shaped around the well-hidden, unknown powers of the Void or the Kosmos with injections of scientific terms from neurology and theoretical physics. It also includes references from hindu philosophies, taoism and Occult ideologies that will bring the reader towards a spiritual enlightenment or Gnosis that has been heretofore unknown - all this, in order to achieve and prepare himself for the second book of the trilogy.

Do you by any chance have an image of the cover without the glare? As far as I can tell that's not actually part of the cover, just part of the way the publisher is promoting images of the book.

Andrew (caileus) | 53 comments Unfortunately not, the book does actually look like that without the glare - it's just a really bad photograph! Actually I just found this from the author's Google+ page, but it's just the graphic design of the cover... not sure if you allow such a thing?

Does the author provide this image on their page as the cover image of their book or just as more promotional material? I can't tell from the pictures I've seen if there's more to the cover or not....

Andrew (caileus) | 53 comments The photo with flare is the one used on the publishers own website. That definitely shows the whole cover (I have a copy). You can see from these other photo's on the publishers website, though these unfortunately have more than the book cover itself in them:

Sorry I can't be more help. The publisher site is not of a very good quality!

Warm regards,

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments I think that the differences between the author's image and the publisher's images are just the shininess of the cover, yes? In that case we'd be able to use the author's image.

It's surprising how few publishers think about poor catalogers when designing their promotional material! :)
