Looking back after viewing the whole movie I thought there were clues. Making out in front of the children like they weren't there... At times her children seemed to be an accessory to her life with her husband. However it wasn't until her long stays away that it seemed obvious she was valuing her new life more than her kids.

In the movie, when he talked about kissing a younger more innocent version of herself. I knew she would do something to them
