Sorry about that. I don't have a copy.

I would need a copy to participate; I don't have a copy.

I'd love to read this one if I can find/get a copy! And I will participate!

Thanks!

Thanks!"
I believe (but I'm not sure) that all the author's copies have been claimed. There's a Goodreads giveaway for the book.

I liked how the story starts out with Sara reading an exerpt from the journal --- a strong beginning, I found interesting; almost poetic.
Sara then turns into a detective searching for Rebecca, the owner of the Journal... now I am wondering if Sara will find out what happened to Rebecca...
It has a mysterious eerie undertone to it; with the gorgeous stalker and the missing Rebecca

Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, but once I get this book and start reading along, does this Group Read chat about it here? Or somewhere else? I am on my first week on Good Reads, help. Thanks!! :-)

Well, I know I am.
FYI, as Mods, we've all discussed it and it will be one the questions we ask when / if another author offers us a "free" book for our members -(a limited number or not) to review.

We discussed the heck out of this event and that was the one possibility that never crossed our minds.

LOL! Very true, Dhes. We discussed the posting of this book every which way to Sunday, but not that.

I want to know about Sara's beginnings; her father, Michael. Everyone starts somewhere to mold their character. Still, the cliffhanger was crazy (crazy good!) Lol! Even tho' it pissed me off! Do I suggest my asking more info. be addressed on her blog to her assistant or is that a question you girls as mods forward??

I am still reading "If I were You", so I haven't reached the cliff hanger part yet, but have you seen the in between novellas that develop the characters?
Rebecca's Lost Journals, Volume 1: The Seduction goes into the secret life of Rebecca and the men who have seduced her.
I haven't read this so I am not sure how detailed it is. There appears to be 4 volumes of the lost journals

I would try one of those ways, unless the novellas Story & Verse recommended answer your questions.

What do you think of the narration?

The narrator is pretty good. I like how I can speed it up or go back 10 or 20 sec. When listening, you can kind of "tune out" while you're doing something else so I'm probably not paying as close of attention to the story as I could be if reading. It is less "work" listening vs. reading, enjoyable! Too bad most of the books on Audible are kinda pricey.

Yes, they really can get pricey. But I've discovered that with many books, if you buy the Kindle version first, you can get the Whispersync (Audible) version at a greatly reduced price.
For example, with this book, the Kindle Version is $7.59 and then you can get the Audible version for $11.49. In my opinion, that's still not a bargain, but I've gotten some great deals...
For example, I bought the Kindle version of Flowers from the Storm for $5.69, then bought the audible version for $3.49. I got both for less than the audible alone, and far less than the $14.95 per month I pay for a single credit membership. When I can get the books at the reduced price, I do that and pay cash, saving my credits for the super pricey audio books.
And, by the way, Flower from the Storm is BRILLIANT both in reading and in listening. BRILLIANT!

I was on the one credit per month plan, so I read it over 3 months.
For me, the voice over added a hint of reality to the story, but reading makes me feel more engaged. The problem with listening was that I found on occasion i lost my place falling asleep or became distracted doing something else at the same time.

I think I did try the sleep timer a few times... but I prefer reading now... I usually review, and it is easier to take notes reading on an e-reader.
