I've always hated Matthew Broderick. F--k him. (But congrats on the kids, I guess:)

Broderick with mutton chops is one of the most awkward things I've ever seen. I do not approve.
He's a smarmy wuss, he's not funny, and he often looks stunned and unable to speak.

I'm just amazed that he will be 80 years old and still look as young as he did in War Games.
I didn't like Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Ferris bugged me - too smug, I think. I know people love it, but to me it was no Breakfast Club.

I like Matthew Broderick, Sally. In fact, I like him alot. I've always thought he seemed like a stage actor more than a movie actor, though. He was brilliant in Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues, The Music Man, and also The Producers.

Sarah weighs in: Matthew Broderick is still cute and charming. Jeff Goldblum was indeed surprisingly hot in Earth Girls are Easy. I think it was the lighting. Sarah Jessica Parker was cute and charming when younger (Girls Just Want to Have Fun, LA Story) but now she is pointy and annoying. Sarah weighs out.
Ooo, good call Sarah. I had forgotten about LA Story. That was such a cute film. I miss the days when Steve Martin was funny.
I have gotten Brogerick & Cusak mixed up SINCE my Breakfast Club days. (And Breakfast Club beats all the other '80s teen angst movies to hell!)I find SJP's face interesting.
Broderick was in one of my favorite movies. Glory. That's all folks!

Did Mindy mention John Cusack? I love him. Unfortunately, Zu hates him (except for Martian Child), so I rarely watch all the great movies he's been in -- The Grifters, High Fidelity, Grosse Point Blank -- even though I have them.
