I've read the 1st 8 chapters so far. Once I finish chapter 10, I will give my thoughts. I am enjoying it so far.

I finished the first 10 chapters. I like it so far.

Becca (view spoiler)[I like her too. She's an interesting character. I like her friendship with Alex. Even though they had some problems, I am glad they were able to forgive each other and be friends again. (hide spoiler)]

Cool, I'm reading a couple books so I'll read more of another before I read more of this.

I've read through chapter 20 now. I'm really liking this book.

Leo (view spoiler)[I like him right now. I hope we learn more about him. I know that he likes horror movies, but other than that, I don't know anything about his life yet. (hide spoiler)]

Becca (view spoiler)[It is sad to read about how sick her treatments are making her become. The worst scene was when she thought she was well enough to go to school, but she ended up getting sick there. (hide spoiler)]

Just made it through the first 15 chapters... what a quick read.

Alex sure does have a lot on her plate.
I was surprised that Becca had her hair cut off so soon!
Their friendship is quite interesting... they seem to forgive pretty quickly!
When Alex told her mother about Becca having cancer, I definitely shed some tears which doesn't happen often.
When Alex said that she dealt with her dad's death because she had to and had no other choice... and her anger towards people who said otherwise... I could relate because I had these same moments after my brother's death.
Yes, the list does seem like a modge podge! I will be interested to see how it all plays out with some of the things on the list seeing as her interactions with Leo seems to be going quick.

I just finished this book. I definitely thought it was a good story.

Leo and Alex (view spoiler)[This relationship was quite complicated. She was too scared of commitment originally, so she didn't want to keep dating him. Then his brother died, and she didn't know how to handle that since so many bad things kept happening to people in her life. I was glad they got back together by the end. (hide spoiler)]

Becca (view spoiler)[I was happy that she was able to beat cancer. It was clearly tough for her to go through, but she still lived, which was good. (hide spoiler)]

Caleb (view spoiler)[He seemed like a sweet guy. He really seemed to care about Becca and how she was doing. (hide spoiler)]

Just finished this one! I loved how quickly it flowed. I think the cynical relationship between the two friends helped create a light and funny take on a heavy topic of cancer. Glad there was a happy ending and Alex realized that it's okay for her to be happy although other people may not be!

Yes, I agree with what you said. The relationship between the friends did help lighten the mood when Becca was going through some tough stuff. And I agree about Alex being happy. She seemed to be punishing herself too much for things that she had no control over.
