Is this a crazy idea or do you agree that J.R.Ward should write another book for Vishous. I feel very disapointed and cheated about , how things actually ended in Lover Unbound.

I don't want to spoil future installments but there are characters who die and end up stuck in the "in between" and don't enter the fade like they supposedly should. An entire future installment is devoted to this. However, Jane and her ghost status never comes up. I'm wondering if it should have? Isn't a ghost technically someone who is stuck "in between" the two realms?

Ok, i will be getting there...now i'm in Phury's book.
I knew that this was crazy, and i haven't read all the books yet, but i really would like to have something more about V. and B......because, they do have a big strong connection ( two halves of the same coin ). Don't know how that would happen, but i'm not the writer and there's no limits in paranormal, so....why not ???

Yeah this is very true.. What sucked about their revisit in Lover Unleashed though, was that Ward totally rewrote certain things concerning them. Things because I hated their book so much, I totally forgot about, til I re-read Lover Unleashed & caught it.
Also I didn't really care for how V & Jane dominated over Payne & Manny with spotlight. That book was already a transition book anyway concerning the on going plot etc.. so the last thing that should have happened were them taking a back seat to characters who already have had their own story/book. Bad form on Ward's part, IMO.

Well I think cause with Jane's case, the SV got involved in that. And so sort of put Jane's spirit in a sort of statis. And her death was more or less like a sacrificial thing too for the SV to bring her back even if in a limited way. Kind of like Mary and her illness. Mary got to be with Rhage but no babies for them. Or even with a character from book one that got a whole other lease on life in later books. But wasn't allowed to keep his memories of his former life or even have the other folks find out who he really was.
As for the Fade thing. I don't think they consider humans going into the Fade. As the Fade is sort of the vamp after life. No humans allowed maybe? But I really can not be sure on that. I'm still trying to figure out how angels got involved and the Trez and Iam folks popped in. Heck even the branch of Sympaths. I almost forgot about their origins til I started talking over the books with a friend that is reading the series now as well. Be interesting to get another insider guide on the origins of those characters.
I will definitely agree with you on certain couples dominating other peeps stories. I have no clue why Ward likes to do that. Not saying I know her personally or about her writing style. But I really hope she doesn't feel like she doesn't have much of a book based off the main couple and has to add in so many sub plots and other couples taking over. But in general though it just reads as a little rude at times. Great to see past characters and all. But dude, don't choke out the main event, is all I'm saying.

While she is a good storyteller she writes with inconsistencies, drive me nuts sometimes when I read her books. This to me is the fault of her researchers and editors they should be catching them in the editing stage of production.

Humans go to the fade as well... go back and read Rhage's book, he talked about standing by Mary until she went to the Fade.

I blame it first & foremost on Ward, though. But I do also blame the people behind her who are being paid to catch these inconsistencies as well. But She's the story teller, no one should know her stories or characters better than she does.
She should read her own books, like many authors do, to keep fresh in their minds the occurrences of events in plot/characters. She should also have files on each of the main characters to refer back to when writing, so she doesn't make those mistakes. like she has often done in the past concerning V, Qhuinn, Butch, etc.. its not just the plot that suffers with this. But the characters, how they look, physical traits etc..

Agreed not letting Ward off the hook, I know a couple of writers and they get into a zone of focus that can be tunneling. She should be going back and re-reading but the people around her should be the stop gap that is what they are there for. I read a couple of other authors who write these big canvas stories and while they too have the inconsistency issue on occasion they are much cleaner overall, one even challenges and posts when her readers find them. I honestly think it shows that she is still learning to write on that larger canvas. I have read this series did not start out to be, hence this is a new realm for her as well. Hopefully as she writes books for the series in the future she will learn to adjust and track her characters, their stories and "the rules" better. Like I said she is a good storyteller just needs to clean up the details better.

Many of us as writers have to go back through our books our outlines but I DO rely on my editors for consistencies in series stuff. Luckily my work that's out now isn't as behemoth as Ward's (that stuff's coming later) but I do have to blame Ward for having so many stories, all the constant head hopping can get confusing. It's why I as a writer eschew multiple POV, though if it's done well enough I'll read it.

So i need another book. True??
