Some people wouldn't believe her history, she pushed that away too. Ivy was beaten, if she was late by a minute, she was beaten by her father. If she had bad grades she was slapped by her mother. This is a reason why she doesn't have.. a relationship, she is scared of what will happen to her. She does have trust issues also. When Ivy went to school she told her teachers she fell down in soccor. Or ran into the wall. When Ivy was hospitalized She told the doctors she tripped and fell down the stairs but she was thrown down them instead... She broke her arm and leg. She still currently has her arm in a cast. Soon after she was taken from her parents because the police had found out what they had done to her. Then she was sent here.

Appearance: She has gray eyes, and brown hair. Her skin is very pale. She usually wears a black hoodie that covers most of her face. She's also usually listening to music underneath the hoodie. No tattoos or piercings... well, she has her ears pierced but that's pretty much it.

History: When she was a little kid, she realized she had a photographic memory. Because of this, she was able to go into great details of what she sees. ❝Vynce is a small person, yes, but is a bundle of surprises. Best not to upset her in any way about her size, either. She's pretty much ready to come at if you even so much as try to goad over her about it. Stopping at a height of five one, she's a very small person. She doesn't let this hold her back, though, and is more than ready to run with the big kids. She weighs in around a hundred and fifty pounds, most of which could be her hair at its worst. She considers it to be a whole other being stuck to her head. She's slenderly framed, maybe save a little more curvature in the bust and rear area. Slender should lead up to a heart shaped visage, with high cheekbones and largely accented eyes. Her hair is an odd tangle of golden brown and black strands. The mess of curls goes down to just past her shoulders, forming an odd halo of hair. Her eyes are a deep gray huing, often mistaken for black in certain lights. They stand out greatly against her skin, which is incredibly light thanks to her mother. Her lips are usually a bright peach color, but her favorite shade of lipstick makes them a florescent pink.

Her voice is a low alto, soft and sultry. It doesn't do anything magnificent if you were to get her angry or extremely happy, but it raise a couple octaves when she gets excited. She drawls her words out a bit, and has a bit of an accent.

❝If anything, Vynce is extremely methodical in the ways she does things. Most would expect her to run head first into just about anything -- a totally wrong assumption, thank you very much. She does like to think things through, even if it doesn't seem like she does. Her mind works and manifests its thoughts in mysterious ways; or, at least that what she says. At any rate, she probably works more efficiently this way, and better than most. Suck that.

Everything grabs her attention. Vynce will say this quite happily, and you'd be sure to know that it's true. She finds wonder in the littlest things, and enjoys learning of something new or unusual to her. In this sense, it works with everything. She's particularly keen on knowing about other people. Not in the intrusive way most people would think, but genuine curiosity. This way, she has that extra person to come talk to, and she has information that can inspire her music.

Vynce is never without energy. It's quite impossible for her to be, in a sense. It's somewhat like she's got an everlasting battery pack inside her, and she's using it at all times. If one should catch to her to be tired or drowsy, it's usually after a night of partying and music, which comes rarely because she has a lot of things to focus on. But, you can never go without her cheerful greetings in the morning.

Among other things, Vynce is exceptionally flirtatious. It's not the kind of flirtatious that ends in oddly placed nights and misshapen memories of events, but more on the friendly lines. If that's even a thing...She's really just a social being that has a lot more to say that can be taken in several different ways. While she isn't one to over do it, she has had a streak of scaring people away with her flirtatious behavior.

If there is anything someone were to need support on, they can always look to Vynce. She has a thing for helping people gain confidence. ❝Born on a hot, sunny August Eight at six PM, Vynce's parents had convinced her that she was born by the sea. She was perfectly content in believing that this was so, only working as a form to placate the hectic life of West Philadelphia. The violence had escalated in that time, as it does now, and she was just a small child living in the memories of her parents. They only broke down and told her that she wasn't born anywhere close to the sea when she was ten, but by that time she'd figured it out.

Vynce was first introduced to the street rappers of Philly after an outing with friends. To say the least, it all hadn't been planned. Her parents had made sure that her music was something along the lines classical, as she'd already been forced into the wondrous art of piano despite the fact that her hands were slightly too small for convenience. Of course, those complaints were only followed by an addition of new instruments to her arsenal. She'd only been five when she made that first complaint, so six years down the road had seemed like a safe number to lean back on for her parents.

She and a group of friends had left 69th Street, a good place for most anyone to go ahead and do their shopping of any kind before heading over to a restaurant or movie. There had been talk of going to a party, but Vynce had shot down the idea immediately. She could only assume that most participants of the gathering would be far older than the gangly bunch of eleven year olds.

Of course, she had been forced into going anyways, and the group moved quickly over three blocks to the party held by seniors at the local high school. As was expected, the occupants were much older. Not only that, but there was the ever lingering presence of narcotics and alcohol. While her friends scattered and left her in the throng of much larger people, she helplessly looked on to the main event: the DJ.

It wasn't anything special that she'd seen, no. He was just a guy with a turn table. What was significant was when he called people up for a battle. She wasn't exactly sure what that was until she saw the people come up, grab the mic, and begin. She was enthralled, hanging on every word that left the participants' lips. So enthralled, in fact, that she lost track of time and didn't leave until well past midnight when her friends came to retrieve her. By this time, they'd gotten worried about her when they'd made moves to leave themselves.

When she got back home, she came with determination to be like those people she'd seen, to be even better maybe. What she met was stern disapproval and a grounding that kept her in for a few months. That, and having to be the one to send the officers searching for her a consolation basket for their work.

There were a few reasons that Vynce somehow wanted to diverge into fashion.

One happened to be a fashion show she attended when she was sixteen. Sure, all the male models were attractive, but that wasn't what drew her in -- somewhat. She mostly admired the way they walked, carried themselves. There was a sort of regality to the whole affair that she kind of craved. It was something that she didn't have among her peers, mostly due to being part of a minority she wasn't sure even existed within her school.

Being one of the lucky few who had been given back stage passes -- minority perks, she guessed -- she was able to see the whole spectrum of work that went on. The models were a plus, but the clothing was just as wonderful. She didn't think it would be too big a deal to speak with one of the models, until he started flirting. Which, she made sure to steer clear of for the rest of the event.

She did, however, get to wandering around. She lost herself in the throng of the action, and actually lost her group as well. Being only sixteen and having dealt with similar situations, she decided to stay calm and try to find her way around. Only, in her attempts to do so, she ended up being whisked away by one of the designers.

Let's just say she feel head over heels at the opportunity she was thrown.

And so the story has reached the current state.
