Separating different authors with the same name

I was wondering if someone could help me. Our publishing house has an author by the name of Paul Clark (a pretty common name!) and when we use the author link from one of his titles, we come up with 31 different books, many of which are not written by this Paul Clark, and not featuring some that are. Is there some way this can be fixed to feature only his titles to differentiate him from other authors with the same name?

We use spaces between the names to differentiate same-named authors. Can you tell us which books are his (preferably with links)?

I tried changing the name and adding spaces, but it doesn't seem to be working. I am still new at this Librarian stuff. Please help!

Angela, I've fixed it for you.

Instructions for next time :)

Go to the correct author's page and click on one of their books - then click edit and count the number of spaces in between the first name/initial & the surname. Close the page.

Go to the book you want to change and click edit and put the exact amount of spaces in the exact same spot. Save and then combine the books if needed. All done.

It's simple when you know how.

I just noticed that the three books I have listed on Goodreads are linked both to my author profile (David E. Manuel) and to David Manuel's author profile (David Manuel). David Manuel passed away before I published my books (Killer Protocols,Clean Coal Killers,The Killer Trees). David Manuel wrote Christian themed books and I'm pretty sure he would be horrified to be associated with my hard-boiled assassin tales. Any chance someone can make sure the books are only ascribed to me? Thanks.
