I need an exclaimation of joy!!!

Hello.

I have to do this project for my English class where I write a journal as a character from a historical fiction novel.

The character that I have chosen is a young-ish man who is the ruler of Florence in the 1470s-90s (It's Lorenzo de' Medici). In the novel, he discovers that this character that he is awkwardly in love with (because he thinks he's a boy) is actually a girl, and so he's ridiculously happy.

Therefore, I need an exclamation of joy that someone from Italy would say in 1478 when they are overjoyed (especially because they've been very solemn recently). I've used "oh, joy of joys!!" - but I need something more.

Please help!

I would construct a sentence that has a certain flourish and construction that makes it seem not English. For example, Persian writing is delightfully descriptive (ie: They had to stop the English "before they rode the donkey of their desires into the field of stupidity")

I used 'Oh, gioia! Oh, joy of joys!" Of what I've read, Lorenzo de' Medici wasn't as religious as most people were (he was sort of heretical, actually)
