oh good thought. I am not even sure which device i was on when it happened. I am going to have to pay attention next time. I seem to have the most trouble with the android app on my kindle.

Roseanne-
This issue has come up in the Goodreads Feedback group several times. Lots of people are having trouble updating since the reread option was added. The response has been that they are working on it so fingers crossed.

Comment #222 deleted due to its not being in keeping with the spirit of the group. Questions about this decision may be sent by personal message to Renee.

Hi Sarah, if you click on the date/time stamp of your post you can bookmark that url.
I bookmark mine - so that I can go automatically to all my challenges one by one.
Credit goes to my daughter - she is the expert in the house when it comes to technology- a member also of Goodreads
Are there badges for every challenge? Where can I find the badges? Where do I get the html for the general Goodreads 2018 reading challenge? Thank you
We were doing badges a couple of years ago, but we are not currently creating new ones the challenges.
Laura wrote: "Where do I get the html for the general Goodreads 2018 reading challenge? Thank you"On the webpage, in the upper right hand side, you click on your profile picture and then select Reading Challenge.

I went ahead and added the new personal challenge folder so people can get started with general goals if they like. It's here: Personal Challenges - 2019.
I've been looking through some of the threads & have noticed lists in the challenges that people have updated does anyone know how you do that I'm not seeing a way to edit a comment I don't want to comment every time I finish a book that's part of a challenge if it's ment to be one comment only TIA
nevermind I figured it out I can't do it on my phone only on a laptop I'm finding there's alot I can't do in the app or on my phone sorry I'm new to this
The only way to do certain things on your phone is to open the browser. I use the Safari app and go to the GR website from there. It’s a small screen to work with but sometimes I’m desperate.
Susy I'm starting to see that lolRenee M on my browser it looks just like the app so still can't do alot of things but I'm just gonna jump on my Mom's laptop when I need to edit things it'll be annoying but it will have to do lol
You might be able to scroll all the way down to the bottom and look for “Go to Website” or wording like that. It’s what I have to do with Audible to get around the app formatting.
Recently I have had this problem with my books jumping from my currently reading shelf to my read shelf. I keep deleting the book and readding it to by currently reading shelf only to have it jump to my read shelf again. Anyone have any ideas of what is going on?
Are you saving the changes? Depending on the way you are accessing the GR site, you may have to actually click “save” to make the changes you wish.
I’m not even sure what I am doing. I am not even trying to do anything with the book. It’s just moved when I go back in.
Hmmm. I’m not sure how to help you but I found this link:

Hi folks,
A quick question about the Reading Challenge; do abandoned books count? There are a few books I've tried to read this year that i just couldn't get into but because I put start/end dates in they appear on my Challenge page. So...do abandoned books count and if not is there a way of removing them from your Challenge list without deleting it completely?

Joe-
If you scroll back a few messages there is a link to a Goodreads question section. We don’t have anything to do with how the site is set up. Hopefully, you will find what you need there.

If I don’t like a book I don’t finish it. But I do like to keep track of them so I set up a shelf for it. If you remove the finish date it will take it off your challenge.

I do my daily walks on my days off and I listen to books as I'm doing that. Makes the exercise go so much quicker!
