From the way he acts and talks and with these two quotes I believe he has apsbergers

I can not see anyone being able to meet is criteria.
Every person set standards, then we start listing things that are not ideal but what we can live with.

I am stuck on Gene having sex with randoms, his wife must know .... so she must have decided to accept him as a a whole package w/ exceptions? That is a BIG exception to allow.

I agree with you. As soon as I found out he's married I was like what!!?? Yes his wife must know maybe ignores it? Yea I would never make that exception!!! Even in the name of science lol

Claudia definitely knows gene has sex and allows it however I assume she doesn't approve tk greatly of it.

She shouldn't allow it in the first place!!!

And aghhhhh he's to picky! Marriage is compromise and yet he has none! He himself isn't qualified for marriage. These poor woman don't have a chance! I myself would've answered arrive early. Being on time to me is late.

Anyways loving the book so far!

Oh and Claudia thinks he has aspbergers I could tell when she asked him if it reminded him of anyone.

Just finished ch10.

I love Rosie!!! And I love how she's unknowing break down some of dons barriers. For instance he keeps rearranging his schedule for her even though she's not "wife material".
He likes her but I don't think he understands his feelings. He keeps saying he gets moments of unexplained happiness and they're all centered around her but I dont know if he sees that. He admits he enjoys her time but I think subconsciously he is starting to like her more then a friend... I see where this is going :)

I absolutely love Don!!!

And what is going in with Claudia and gene!? Claudia thought gene was with snl when he was with Rosie..,. And don saw gene at the restaurant worth Olivia!!!!! Woahhh..,, more than an experiment I'm wondering if he's started an affair with Olivia.

It was sad that he said his parents "lost interest in him some time ago".

I don't get Gene and Olivia.. how would he know her?

I really liked that too, she just inserted herself into his "bubble" (hehe) and he was uncomfortable but acceptable.

Booze also seems to loosen him up, I am sure that Rosie will use that to her advantage when she wants to veer from his strenuous sched.

I think that meaning behind the story will be it does not matter what genes you have it's what you do with them.
