Alrightio.Soooo, I was thinking about the kind of arena we might have when I was making things and came up with a few:
1. A forest arena, pretty similar to the one in the actual first book. It would be nice and classic and easy to set up and whatnot.
2. An island. This would be interesting since it could be super jungle-like, with a bunch of poisonous plants and various animals (sharks, snakes, carnivorous birds, the list goes on).
3. Snowed over mountains would be interesting, since, y'know, that would be cold and likely utter hell. I'd be concerned that everyone would die of frostbite though... Mehh... It would still be interesting, though. And there could be caves and little underground things as well.
4. We could do a desert one, which would be kind of awesome. Like the jungle island, there could be all different kinds of genetically altered animals and a severe lacking of water (but there could always be sustenance within one of the plants; it just might make them go a little loopy or something like that).
5. Grasslands: it would be nice and open for tons of slaughtering and whatnot. That, and we could have hills and stuff on the edges of the arena that could hold some treacherous caves or something, just like the mountains.
6. Mix of all five. Not sure how that would go, but it would be cool, that's for sure.
My favorite are the plain old forest and the island, but that's just me :)
Oh! Or we could do a kind of wrecked city thing. Like, it could be a demolished version of the capitol or something and the message behind it would be all, 'If we burn, you burn with us', but it would be almost like reverse psychology against the districts, showing that if they think they're going to wreck the capitol, then their lives will be spent as well. In an essence, the destroyed capitol might represent the uprising and the tributes would represent the civilian deaths that came out of it.
That was a really crackpot idea right there.

But then again it'd be nice to have like just one simple idea we can really elaborate on, y'know?
