Finished Poison Study a couple of days ago. Rated it 2 stars, because while it wasn't that bad, it also wasn't that great for me. Hopefully the next choice will be better!

Sassafrass - The Siren finished 2/20

I had read The Gift (seven day loan was it previous title) so I already knew Soren's identity but it still was a shock reading about him and what he did with Nora. Thank you for the push I needed to get it off my to read shelf.

i've been reading a lot, and i've been reading some good books, but other books haven't lived up to their hype. because of that, i have only read one book in this challenge, because i'm scared of being disappointed, and most of the books that are on any of my to read lists are because they have been talked about. i think that i've discovered that what i like doesn't necessarily match up with a lot of people.
that being said, i read Dirty Secret and really enjoyed it, so i just have to get over my fears.

Don't be worried about it beppy - give the books you own already a chance and then see what you think. We won't all like the same stuff, but you might also be surprised at how much we have in common :) Worth a go anyway.

Finished A Discovery of Witches last week. I ended up only giving it 2 stars and I don't know that I care to pick up the next book even though the last 100 pages or so of this one set up for book 2 (which was a huge part of my 2 star rating!) SO glad I finally read it though so now I know and can say, "I've read it," the next time someone who hears that I like vampire books recommends it! Thanks, Valerie!

I also finished It Happens in the Dark. LOVE this series and it's characters. This book got quite a few bad reviews, but it was great to me. :) Thanks for the push to read it, Turtlecollector!

I also read Fatal Affair in one day. Lots of characters and setting the stage with a super fast wrap up at the end, but it kept me turning pages so I gave it 3 stars. I will definitely pick up the next in the series at some point. Thanks for recommending it, Sassafrass!

I'm up to 4 finished and have 2 in progress right now. This has been a slow reading month for me for some reason, but at least I know I'll read the minimum for this challenge for sure!

I just started the next book. It picks up 4 years after Cade finished and it's about Brant and Darcy...so far I'm really enjoying it.

I adore it as well! They just keep making me smile - and the friction in the first book is great. Gotta say though, that the first book wasn't well-edited so you can get a bit lost in the conversations, but after that (when the series really became a series - I don't think Madeleine and Abi thought it would take off), the editing and 'care' is much better!
