SOLVED. 90s Sci-fi/horror? Security guard trapped in a building during a snowstorm [s]

I read this book in the mid 90's roughly, picked it up from the bargain bin of a small local store so it might not have been widely published.

It was about a female security guard working in a large office building on the night shift and she gets snowed in overnight with the cleaning staff. Something happens that causes appliances/objects to come to life and start terrorizing the people there.

It was a really strange book, especially as I was about 13 at the time. I can't remember the name or author (or the ending!!) and I'd love to find it again. Thanks for any and all help!
