Asmaa Don't you think that Gideon can read minds??
It happened more than once in the series that Gwen thinks about something and find Gideon answering her thought, but the writer didn't say anything about it!!
when I was reading Ruby Red I thought that he inherited reading minds ability from the count.

Emi no, i think that Gideon is human. like complitly human. Except immortal human...;p but in my opinion those situations was just coincidents.

Anna That's an idea, but I don't think so. . . if he had, it would have been explained. At least, I hope it would have, because that would be an interesting plot twist.

Gideon and Gwen were probably thinking along the same line during most of their time together. Didn't Gideon mention how easy Gwen was to read? Expressions can speak volumes.

Gerd It's unlikely that he could read minds, or he would have known about Gwen having the second Chronograph earlier.

Audrey but remember in the first book, she was thinking something, and he LITERALLY said exactly what she was thinking?!

Courtney Lee Yeah, I thought he had that ability too. A while ago I watched a booktalk vid that I was so sure it was about this series and it was by Xtinemay (she's amazing btw) and anyway, she said that the love interest could hear thoughts that someone would have of him. But as I read and finished the series (which was recently), I realized that the vid was definitely about another book. I just kept thinking sooner or later Gideons secret ability will be revealed and it never did.

Dita I think he does, because he suddenly stopped reciting the prophecy when Gwen asked about his power, and when they fought he laughed when she thought something funny. Also at the first book he answered to the things she was thinking. It would make sense if he had inherited it from the Count.
