Oh, I hope that doesn't stop you! Julia is not a sappy, puppy love kind of girl, really. When I first read the back cover, I thought how ridiculous of a plot line! But then, because it was Julie Klassen, I read the book and was drawn in so thoroughly! And really, the cover reflects very, very little of the characters, I think. The book is very well-written with a lot of character growth.

I have read books with really bad covers and they have been really good. It isn't about the cover, but what is in between the covers that count. Buy it on kindle, put it in a different cover, don't look at it, but don't dismiss a book just because you don't like the cover. From what I can gather, the author hasn't a say as to what the cover looks like, so don't punish them.
