Going to go sort teams now. Yesterday I built a gate (I love my puppy) and passed out early sorry.

Some people grab as they go some are planners. If there is a word you are worried about, I would find a couple options for it. Some teams coordinate and some don't.

Hi Dawn. I know I'm too late to sign up for the full time team challenge, but I would like to sign up as a backup player if that is still possible. If not, I will be sure to sign up (on time) for the next round as a backup player.I've been looking at this challenge for about a year now, and I'm still too scared to jump in with both feet. Lol.

Sigh oh Melissa I wish it were over, and our sales don't start until Sunday. I am the cookie Mom for our troop as well as the cookie manager for the Service Unit. I am also teaching an art class to 5th graders today and I have a GS meeting tonight. So just FYI to you all I'll be here to help with questions intermittently through the day. I won't be on here all morning as I have been in the past.

@Dawn ~ I'm so sorry - our site sales aren't for a couple of weeks. *whispers* this is why I don't want to offer to be cookie mom - but I do always get my stuff in on time. Yeah it is all a bit overwhelming, and we do the Cookies NOW program which means I'll be driving 45 minutes tomorrow to go pick up 108 cases of cookies to pass out so the girls have them to sell on Sunday. No pre-orders makes it a bit easier. No worries, I try to check this thread and the item discussion thread a couple times a day. The team threads at least once a day. So either thread is ok for questions.
An odd question, could this challenge be considered a quarterly challenge if you are doing the colossal challenge?

Quick question.To earn points for your team, you have to find the item of the week first, right?
So if I do not find the item, then I cannot claim any points at all.

Yes, you have to claim the item of the week in your book. If your book doesn't have the item of the week you can't claim any of the other items.
Is there something specific in regards to posting that the captains are required to do?

Some captains make their own sheet or post to track, but it is not required.
Dawn team yellow is going to be the sun goddesses and I'm going to captain.

Dawn will sort you Lindy shes been having trouble getting on here a lot lately, So just read on! The words called for last week Were DOG and WING. Then choose any word from each of the remaining categories. New word will be called 8AM. Good luck
Lindy my computer is down and I can't post links but you'd go to the thread that is titled R7: non team player. Then be sure to check the thread that says item announcement.
Ok so team captains please check the spreadsheet. I updated it on my phone. Kind of hard to do on such a small screen. Hopefully I got it all right. If my totals are right here is where the teams stand.
