Its winter here, not that you'd be able to tell. We have warmish, but very summery looking days. and then the nights are freezing, gales blowing and flooding down town. its kind of on repeat right now

No idea where to post this, just wanted to say that I find it rather sad and pathetic to send threats about deleting people who aren't active. Like I get it, you want an active group, but you won't be getting that by kicking people out when they can't prioritize Goodreads over things that pay the rent, or their studies or whatever. If that's the kind of group you want where people feel forced to spam the forum just to not be kicked out, then go ahead and kick me out. I have no interest in it.

You haven't lived in the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Mesa/Tempe area of Arizona then, BlackStar. They start dropping like flies at 90, especially since most older homes still only have swamp coolers rather than modern A/C. true that most people have regular AC cooling systems but they constantly break down. So the usual 100 degrees goes to 115 in a matter of seconds.
