We're shooting our season 2 videos in two weeks. That means three days and 12 interviews.

We're posting the authors here so we can collect your questions!

The third boulder of the avalanche of interviews will be Chuck Wendig.

We're going to ask him some questions and YOU'RE going to ask him some questions. So what do you want to ask? Post it here.

message 3: by Kevin (new)

Kevin Hearne | 1 comments Chuck,
1) Please explain how taco and coffee binges lead to writing binges. 2) I enjoyed the blog post featuring a do-it-yourself profanity generator, but might there be any possibility of programming a Wendig Profanity Generator app so that we can use our mobile phones to create new and exciting ways to curse people while we are driving? 3) You are the Lord of Twitter. Is it good to be king? What advantages do you see in Twitter that are not present in other social media channels, like Facebook or Pinterest?

message 4: by Feralbulb (new)

Feralbulb | 1 comments If, like Miriam, you could tell how people you touch will die, how would you take advantage of it?
How much coffee do you go through in 24hours? and whisky?

message 5: by Richard (last edited Jan 12, 2014 09:14AM) (new)

Richard Wolanski | 1 comments Can I give birth to your half-feral cthulhu children? Also, why did you choose the Cormorant as the bird for your latest book?

message 6: by Katherine (new)

Katherine Weinberg | 1 comments Do you plan on writing any more books in the "Blue Blazes" universe?

message 7: by Sasha (new)

Sasha Ramroop | 1 comments How else can writers start getting known besides starting a blog and reading and writing to get better on the sidelines?

message 8: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Willms (michellewillms) | 2 comments You are my idol. How do you manage your time so well? You blog, you Tweet, you write full-time, you are father of the year, and you are probably the leader of some super secret sci-fi cult that meets seven days a week. I must add: you do not just write, you write damned good books. And your blog posts are excellent, as well. How do you do it all?

message 10: by Robert of Dale (new)

Robert of Dale (r_dale) | 185 comments You recently (10th of January 2014) blogged a response to Paul S. Kemp's views on masculinity in fiction. Your piece focused on his implication that femininity is an inferior opposite.

Could you talk a little about how you view Miriam Black in your own terms of masculinity & femininity? Also, what do you think distinguishes a masculine character from a feminine one?

message 11: by Electric (new)

Electric Meat Chuck,

Your background in tabletop gaming is deep and you're probably best known for your work on "Hunter: the Reckoning". "Hunter" featured an urban horror setting that dovetails a little with some of your books like "Blackbirds" or "The Blue Blazes". It was a natural fit for the type of stories you like.

But being a gamer exposes you to other genres. D&D is inescapable in the tabletop world. Have you ever thought about writing for genres that are more common in gaming, like fantasy or sci-fi? Did you do much fantasy or sci-fi gaming and, if so, why do you think those experiences didn't sink in as deeply as the urban horror ones?

message 12: by Steve (new)

Steve (elquesogrande) | 5 comments Hey Chuck,

You have one of the strongest online / social networking presences among authors I know. How has that helped with your ability to bring in new fans? Anything related to your social media presence that caused issues? Any tips for fellow authors?

What's next for you? New worlds, new writing approaches and/or formats?

message 13: by Cordia (new)

Cordia Pearson (cordiapearson) Bearded One, just for S & Grins, how many hours writing, vs hours mingling, vs hours mangling the neighbors?

message 14: by Andreah (new)

Andreah Who designs your website? It is awesome! Also, what advice would you give to a writer who has never published before about self-publishing? Especially getting the word out about his/her book.

message 15: by Nick (new)

Nick Nafpliotis | 1 comments As someone who is just starting out with submitting/publishing their own writing, rejections can feel pretty discouraging now matter how much everyone says they are "part of the process."

What type of rejection volume did you deal with when you first starting trying to get your work published and what was the process and/or catalyst that helped switch you over to all of your stuff being publishable (And don't try to be modest. You rock and if I were a woman I would want to have your babies).

Tamahome | 7215 comments Believe me, you don't want one of Chuck's babies:
