Bloodchild and Other Stories by Octavia E. Butler

My question is "who is Goodreads" and "why is he combining without reading the notes"? I need to separate the works, but will Goodreads combine them again?

Empress (the_empress) I have separated "Blodchild and other stories" again. Could Goodreads not combine them, please? All editions published 2005 and after that contain two additional stories, which makes it 7 stories and 2 essays. The older editions contain 5 stories and 2 essays. There are plenty of notes left.

Thank you

Empress (the_empress) Another question. According to this log, Otis has set the publication date in 2012, but there is no publication dates visible on the book page. Is that a bug?

Also goodreads has updated the image in 2012 as well. Where was that image taken from? Currently there is a request to change the cover and I need to know if I need to make an ACE.

Thank you.

Those edits are Otis (actually, a script he was running) removing the pub dates. Those of us who remember the end of January 2012 will remember why. Any similar data removed like that by Otis' script January 27-30, 2012 can be reverted.

The cover's source isn't really relevant. (And we ran a LOT of imports the first week of February, so there's probably no way to know.) If someone wants a different cover, then yes, an ACE would be required.

Thank you. I will revert the cover change and create the ACE.
