J.A. Pierce (japierce) | 3 comments Hello group,
I’m a new author seeking reviews and feedback on my work. I’m fifty-three and I live in Leesburg Virginia. I recently published( “Storm Dancer” by J.A.Pierce) (amazon), which is the first book in a trilogy. I’m writing three other books which I intend to publish but haven’t set a date. I have been a reader all my life. I’ll work on reviewing my favorite books. Over the years, I gave away most of the great books in my little collection. I’ve always liked to share a goodread. Thank you all for allowing me to participate in your group.

I am sixteen years old and live in the wonderful state of Michigan. I published my first book in August titled Waybrooke and I am working on my second! I love my family more than anything, I really really like coffee and I don't have a favorite color but when people ask I always say purple. :)

Geraldine Evans (geraldineevans) | 3 comments Hi All,

I'm Geraldine, from the UK.

I'm a traditional author, turned indie.

I write police procedurals (more cozy than noir) and would be glad of reviews for any of them. If you like mysteries with some humour, you might enjoy these.

I also write historical novels. Only one so far, but I intend to write more. If anyone enjoys Tudor Biographical Fiction, this could be to your taste: Reluctant Queen (on GR Giveaway at the moment).

If you're interested in winning one of ten pb copies, here's the link for the Giveaway: https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...

Here's a link to my website/blog: http://geraldineevansbooks.com

Happy to review others' books, but can I take a raincheck on that for the moment? Hope to have cleared some time by May 2014 to be able to do reviews.

Many thanks.

Kristen Luciani (kluciani) | 3 comments Hi there,

My name is Kristen Luciani and I'm from the US. I love to read and write - my favorite genres are contemporary romance, action adventure and chick lit.

I just completed my first contemporary romance novel, Unlikely Venture, and I am researching publishing options. However, being the impulsive gal that I am, my fingers are just itching to get it up on Amazon asap!

I'm really excited about this book, and I can't wait to get it out to readers!

Come visit my blog if you get a chance! http://kristenluciani.com

Look forward to connecting!

Justin Fenech | 13 comments My novel The Pale Dove (a 21st century Lolita) is beginning to do well in sales, but I need some reviews to take it to the next level. This is not a plea: it is a good piece of literature that delves into the madness of child-love and the corrosive influence of the 21st century on the fragile minds of children. There is a lot to read in its 161 pages. Would dearly appreciate reviews.

Good Morning,

It's a lovely sunny day here in South East England. After I post this e-mail I am going to plant new potatoes, sow lettuce and radish sees and do other jobs in my organic garden.

I am looking forward to getting to know members of this group, reviewing novels and receiving reviews of my novels.

MuseItUp Publishing have published five of my historical novels as e-books. Sunday's Child and False Pretences set in the Regency era. Tangled Love, The Captain and The Countess, Tangled Love and last but not least, Far Beyond Rubies, which is also available as a paperback, each of which are set in England in the reign of Queen Anne Stuart 1702-1714.

I believe that Historical Novelists should bring to life the eras in which their novels are set. They should not feature characters dressed as 21st century people with 21st century attitudes.

My bookshelves bear testimony to my research - economic and social history, what people ate, where they shopped, what they wore and much more. As well as reading historical non-fiction, I visit places of historical interest and exhibitions such as the recent one The Georgians At Home and at the moment, plan to visit the new exhibition, The Vikings, at The British Museum.

Ever since I can remember I have read both historical fiction and non-fiction and now I am delighted to be a published author.

Hugh Mannfield | 2 comments Hello everyone. I have been writing for some time but have decided to abandon the traditional approach and self publish on Amazon. I have 3 eBooks up so far.

When I started writing my first novel, I found that I ended up reading more than ever. I have trouble remembering all the books I've read, so reviewing is actually a good way to keep track. I will only review books I liked. It's easier and more productive for me to do this than writing bad reviews. I will point out things I did not like in a book that I otherwise found enjoyable.

My favorite genres are science fiction and fantasy but also like Tom Clancy style thrillers. I look forward to making some friends and posting reviews of many more of books I have enjoyed.

Rosemary Morris (rosemarymorriscouk) | 11 comments As a child, when I was not making up stories, my head was ‘always in a book.’

While working in a travel agency, I met met Indian husband. He encouraged me to continue mt education at Westminster College. In 1961 I and my husband, now a barrister, moved to his birthplace, Kenya, where I lived from 1961 until 1982. After an attempted coup d’état, I and four of my children lived in an ashram in France.

Back in England, I wrote historical fiction. I am now a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, Historical Novel Society and Watford Writers.

Apart from writing, I enjoy classical Indian literature, reading, visiting places of historical interest, vegetarian cooking, growing organic fruit, herbs and vegetables and creative crafts.

My bookshelves are so crammed with historical non-fiction which I use to research my novels that if I buy a new book I have to consider getting rid of one.

Time spent with my five children and their families, most of whom live near mw is precious.

See the book covers, view the book trailers and read extracts from Rosemary Morris' novels at www.rosemarymorris.co.uk

Rhoda D'Ettore (RhodaDEttore) | 11 comments Hello! My name is Rhoda D'Ettore, and recently I have published a couple ebooks, which led me to print my first book last week. I live in NJ, and have been a postal worker for 15 years.

I originally started my book, Goin' Postal: True Stories of a U.S. Postal Worker, as a nostaglia type of diary for my co-workers. It was so funny that my friends told me to publish it. I did as an ebook. Then I wrote a couple more ebooks, one entitled 10 Shades of Blush: The Softer Side of Kink (which will be a series), and the other was a short story of historical fiction. I got such great reviews for that one, The Creek: Where Stories of the Past Come Alive, that I decided to print that along with Goin' Postal into a "Two Books in One" Combo.

The reviews are coming back pretty good. However, I have not been in the reading/writing community, so I would like to get to know all of you, and hope we can help each other to promote and suggest good reads :)
